Re: Fined and dropped for missing a pen

Some people would look at an insistence to take a penalty only to hit a tame shot at the keeper as potential sign of corruption.

Not me though, I think it was all above board and not suspicious at all.

Re: Reid misses another return

For simply scoring THAT goal, I will never utter a bad word against him.

Hope we one day get to sing his name in Claret & Blue once more.

Re: ⚽ West Ham United v Manchester United: Match Thread

That's me boarding the 23:00 National Express out of Victoria en route back to Dundee arriving 10:20 tomorrow morning. To be honest it's a pig of a journey but it's been a great weekend catching up with some old muckers and watching us canter to victory over the red Mancs, so I can put up with the ...

Re: VAR - yes or no ?

A conspiracy theorist would suggest that the big teams have thrown their toys out of the pram due to the infield decisions becoming more equalised across the league. They would then suggest that the Premier League top brass have panicked and agreed to scale back the use of VAR in order to appease t...

Re: West Ham have a new drinks partner (and so do Everton)

I have always thought of these high caffeine drinks as dangerous, not just to kids but to adults. A guy I worked with went on a stag weekend and ended up in hospital due to drinking Vodka Red Bulls around the pool all day. He was rushed in thinking he was having a heart attack. The doctors said its ...

Re: ⚽ Watford v West Ham Utd: match thread

Am I the only one who thinks this will be a straight forward 3 or 4 goal victory for us? We have a very decent first 11 whom all will be fit and ready to play. Watford are struggling and should be an easy 3 points. I will actually be disappointed and surprised if we don’t dominate this game from sta...

Re: The summer transfer window 2019 thread

So all I’ve learnt in the last 3 pages of this thread is that Newcastle’s new signing has only scored a couple of couple goals or just less than a few few. More of a couple fews with a couple on top.

Re: Marko Arnautovic Signs

I’m distinctly very unbothered by him leaving. His great games were very much outnumbered by his mediocre games. If he can’t wear our shirt with the respect we deserve then I’m delighted to see the back of him. He is replaceable and we have been hurt far, far worse by players whom have performed far...

Re: Marko Arnautovic Signs

I feel partially responsible as last night I selected him for my fantasy league team. This happens to me all the time and I swear I’m cursed. I’m taking him out and replacing with Harry Kane. Fingers crossed he will now tear something important and miss the season.

Re: F.A.O ST Waiting List Members

A pal of mine who gave up his West Ham season ticket in 2001 and has since had a season ticket at Peterboro text me to say he has been offered a season ticket. He has been to West Ham once over the last dozen years or so. He is not and never has been on the waiting list.

“We should not be a selling club and must keep our best players if we are to progress”

“I can’t believe we would sell X, same old West Ham”

“We never sell our best players for mega money like Everton”

“We should cash in and reinvest the vast amounts on rebuilding”

Re: The summer transfer window 2019 thread

Wow I have read some pre season optimism and delusion on here before but this year is becoming a new level. So over the last 24 hours we are wanting West Ham to sign one of Man UTD’s most promising players, Martial on 250k a week and Stump up the 50mill on a single player as 4th spot and champions l...

Re: VAR - yes or no ?

I don’t think we will see the real advantage of this for a few seasons. I expect it will work well next season but with a couple of seasons application and advancements of technology, it will be a real advantage for the smaller clubs who always seem to get the rough end of the stick. Personally I’m ...

Re: Arsenal Fan TV (non WHU)

I hope beyond all hope we see a Tottenham version of this on Sunday. It was a little while ago the same idiots were calling for Wengers head for only ever qualifying for the champions league. This is great to watch. Although I have him as correct about their players. I noticed half were heading off ...
