Re: Liverpool v West Ham United: Match Thread

I was born in 61, seen a few draws, seen us throw away chances to win, but mostly defeat after defeat some heavy ones in there, what makes it worse is that I now live in l'pool, have for last 30 yrs & my bloody brother supports them, cant see it being any different this time I too live in Liverpool...

Re: Allardyce: Stick or twist

Why doesn't someone ask Allardyce why he thinks Heitinga and Traore wouldn't join us? The only player who would is a third divison, slow, over 30 yard dog, who Allardyce himself called 'tall' as his only redeeming feature! Does anyone actually want to remain in the Prem with his 'none of this is my ...

Re: Allardyce: Stick or twist

Keep the useless prick til the end of the season, but as soon as he relegates us, sack him and humiliate him publicly, like he's doing to us at the moment with his 'none of this is my fault' arrogant attitude I'd give DiCanio a chance in Div 2, after he's got rid of all this dross lardarse has assem...

Re: Allardyce: Stick or twist

My biggest fear, is that when the **** does get us relegated (and believe me, we need it to get rid of all the dross he's assembled, along with his 'tactics') they don't sack him!

Re: Allardyce out

If we keep Allardyce, at least Leyton Orient will realise their dream of playing at the Olympic Stadium!

Re: Everton v West Ham United: Match Thread

I think that's about it for me now with away games - 2 more years of this negative garbage, is more than I can now take. It's not that under Allardyce we're that hoof ball...............he's just so dreadfully negative.........and the defending is all last ditch. There's got to be a modicum of enter...

Re: The January 2013 transfer window

If Cole can't get in a Liverpool team only a couple of places above us, why does he think he'll walk into our team? Why are ALL Liverpool supporters rejoicing that he has left their club? The deal he has 'engineered' is getting a healthy pay off for the 18 months left on his contract - is that Liver...

Re: West Ham Utd v Cardiff City: match thread

Very poor performance today, and now we've signed the 'mighty' Carew I assume we are now not in the market for Long.
Piq, Cole or Carew ain't gonna score the goals we're going to need to get out of this league

Re: Manager XIV: Allardyce Confirmed

To be honest, he wouldn't be my choice, but the 'Allardyce way' is probably more akin to getting us out of 'Divison Two'. He'll certainly instill discipline and to be honest, we probably need a bit of 'put it in row Z then think about it' defending than some of the namby pamby hesitancy we've seen, ...

And now we've eliminated the possibility of qualifying for Europe through our league position -do you not think it risky banking everything on the cup? We are only in the last 8 - it's not like it's the semi's It's great that we are even mentioning Europe, but after achieving so much, it would be a ...

If by some miracle we won the cup - would he 'rest players' every time we have UEFA cup match next season- did we 'rest players' for earlier rounds of the cup?! We've only played 35 matches this season - how much 'rest' do these 'professionals' need?!
