Re: ⚽ West Ham Utd v Chelsea: match thread

I quite like Caravan's In The land Of Grey And Pink and thank The Chelsea Oppo view for reminding me about it.
Caravans 'Cunning Stunts' is more appropriate for this OV.

Re: ⚽ Aston Villa vs West Ham Utd: match thread

Think there’s a need to differentiate between ‘OV’ as taken from a forum and ‘OV’ as in talking to opposition fans st the ground. Everyone I met was friendly, courteous and complimentary about our team. Quite right mate. I had some great conversations and banter with numerous Villa fans In the Squa...

From Spanish publication Larazon, don't know how cosher they are. While negotiating the signing of Otávio, Sevilla has received an offer for En-Nesyri After Sevilla rejected a first proposal of 30 million euros by the 23-year-old forward , West Ham has raised its offer to 40 , double what the Sevill...

Re: Summer 2020 Transfer Thread

The trouble with loaning Dawson as a 4th/5th choice CB is that the other CB's we have (Honorable exception Ogbonna) should be 4th/5th choice CB's based on recent form and needed to be replaced with a decent starting Defender. Anyone relying on a 19 year old kid, a re-born Balbuena, a not quite good ...

Re: Takeover talk

Surely not, the squad's worth 260m inc Rice, the training facilities combined maybe another 50m tops for the land they're sat on. A deal for Newcastle was agreed at 350m so no way the London premium is going to be worth another 350m. Why do so many people seem to forget/ignore the <>£150m annual Sk...

It will be interesting to see what impact, if any, a more solid central midfield delivers assuming Soucek is alright.

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

I find it amazing that nobody believes we need another Centre Back. Apart from the (usually) reliable Ogbonna we have a shot Balbuena, an out of form and struggling Diop, an untried youngster in Cardosa, and have shipped out Reid on loan who will probably never play for us again. Added to the defici...

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions

Well Matt Bellamy of Muse shouted 'this place is much better than Wembley' last night so it must be true. Strangely, standing in the middle of the pitch and looking around, the seated spectators didn't look too far away, so from a players perspective it probably ain't too bad. And as for the £6.50 a...
