Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

What do you think about the question I posed earlier, IB? Do you genuinely reckon any other Premier league teams would have given Moyes a go? And if not, why not? Because, I just can’t believe that in a World where football is the most popular sport on the planet, why the 18th richest club in the c...

That's the spirit IB. You stick up for what you believe!
Of course you're absolutely wrong. But never mind.

Just out of interest, does anyone one here (aside from ironing board) think that any other Premier League team would have given Moyes a job?
Nope. Not a cats chance in hell.

Re: How much do you care about relegation?

I'm a fair bit older than most on here (I would think) and I've seen 5 relegations -or is it 6? I forget without checking it up- All I can say is that every time many people have said that we would be down indefinitely. Well, the longest was 3 seasons. However, there seems to be a real malaise gripp...

Re: Leicester City v West Ham United: Match Thread

You can't help but think the Owners plans strike an uncanny resemblance to the Johnson public veneer of seeking a deal but heading on a course to leave without one, Brexit manoeuvres. Perhaps they think that the Premier League will unexpectedly change the rules of relegation to protect our decline ...

I'd say the decline has been going on even longer than 25 years. At least a good 30 years in my view.

That was up there with some of the crappiest performances I have seen in the 56 years I have been following WHU. And there have been many, many crap performances. We just never seem to learn do we?
I think relegation is almost nailed on now. And what happens after that is anyone's guess. :|

We won't get anything out of this game. Primarily because the players we have (for the most) have no bottle, character, or fight about them. I expect a lazy 0-2, 0-3 surrender. Headbanger

Masterstroke that, wasn't it? Getting David 'Mr. Entertainment'' Moyes back.
Don't know if we would have stayed up with Pellers but we're definitely going down with Moyes.

Re: Leicester City v West Ham United: Match Thread

Don't care who gives me stick for this... I will never give any respect and I will never back any manager who sets up his team to play for a point or to try and keep the score line down. That is exactly what Moyes has done tonight and it is not the only time he has done it and he will do it again a...

Re: 2019/2020 Relegation Thread

Can't believe ( but should) that our owners have left us in this state. Should have binned Pellegrini in November, and backed Moyes in the transfer window with significant funds. Really don't get what their thinking is. Have to disagree with the Moyes bit. I really don't think he is the right man f...
