Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

Despite half of your posts being Anti-Moyes tirades or sarcastic remarks, like calling him "a busted flush". Yeah. I've never been a fan of Moyes and have never made a secret of it. Why should I if that's my opinion? And calling him a 'busted flush' is not really sarcastic is ir? I...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

You really think they would be up in arms, while sitting around the relegation-places and their chairman would come around with Moyes? You really believe that, after how he transformed us from a clown-show of a club into one, that is among the Top-8 over the last four years and still has European f...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

There would be more takers now for Moyes than there would have been when we first appointed him, which in itself shows the job he has done. Sorry mate, I don't see it that way at all. I don't think he will manage another Premier league club. For a start the fans at most clubs would be up in arms. B...

Re: West Ham Utd v Bayer Leverkusen: match thread (2nd leg)

Last year people might remember the Anderlecht AZ Alkmaar quarter final tie. Anderlecht lead 2-0 from the home tie, Alkmaar got two early goals in the second leg and won on penalties to then play us in the semi's. It can be done! :winker: I don't think anyone has said it can't be done. Most are tak...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

In my experience on here, id say its much more likely that the ones on here that have supported the manager are likely to be saying the next bloke needs time, whilst the ones that turned on Moyes will start baying for blood…. It certainly be interesting to see how it comes to fruition That is very ...

Anyone know how many Leverkusen are bringing over? I'll bet they'll bring a hell of a lot more than the official allocation.

Well it's not over till the Fat Lady sings and all that. So who knows? But I think it will take a herculean effort for us to win this tie. But, we can only try. :newthumb:

As I said earlier, lose today and it's 9th. Nailed on now I reckon. Chelsea will definitely overtake us with 3 games in hand.

Everyone knows the manager is leaving and was screwed by the owner in January. I'd struggle to get motivated for a club with no ambition too.
Some might say that the huge salaries they're on should be motivation enough.

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

Support or followers? I believe most of the negativity is from people who follow the club, but I wouldnt classify as supporters. Look at the match day thread. Same posters, obviously don't go to games, repetitive and tedious posts etc. Of course everyone is entitled to an opinion, but that doesn't ...

If he stays, that legacy can continue.

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

The cup winners cup was a massive tournament back in the day. Not far behind the european cup (champions league)in status. Doing away with cup winners cup was one of the main reasons that the FA cup has diminished in status IMO.
