Re: ⚽Oxford United v West Ham United: LC R3 Match Thread

I'd really like to say sod it, all in, why change a winning team but we do actually have a chance of getting somewhere in the league so maybe more caution required. In the FA Cup we should risk it all this year.

Re: ⚽Oxford United v West Ham United: LC R3 Match Thread

The groundsmen better have their pitchforks out!

What are the chances of it being called of I wonder?

(Just realised it's tomorrow!)

Re: ⚽ West Ham United v Manchester United: Match Thread

We won this fixture last season at a relative canter. The fact they're the big team and will/should have a go, I think, suits us and plays to our counter attacking strengths. We definitely have a great chance which feels good to be able to say considering the last god knows how many years. 3-1 again...

By my reckoning Noble had made well over 100 appearances by the time he was the age Cullen is now.

Noble wasn't a late developer by any stretch.

Re: 'Hard Players' Still Lacking steel??

I think Declan can have all the steel we need, to be playing how he has at 19/20 says it all really.

Then he's got the Irish temperament we've not really seen yet but is bound to rear it's head at some point.

Re: Would you sell Declan Rice for £90m?

For me it would just be the same old West Ham again, every time we look to be getting somewhere we sell our best.

Would be just the same as selling Rio in my opinion, that was ridiculous money back then and look what happened.

Re: VAR - yes or no ?

Was VAR actually working on Saturday? Against Man City it was up on the boards quite a bit that things were being reviewed, didn't see it once against Norwich?

Re: VAR

I think it'd be mad not to use the technology available to get the right decision. You can still celebrate a goal as a natural reaction, then you can celebrate all over again if the goal stands. It doesn't cause much delay at all and you end up with the right and fair result. Not sure how you can ar...

Re: ⚽ AFC Wimbledon v West Ham Utd: match thread

Its games like this that remind me of our captains limitations as a footballer and leader. He was a shambles tonight. And not for the first time. I do understand he wasn't alone but he is a common denominator when we continue to lose to teams we should be better than. Including the Brighton's of th...

Re: New Tottenham stadium (non-WHU)

Looks immense. Very jealous to be honest. Bit different to ours isn't it? Have we ever been close to Sp*rs? I remember finishing above them under Redknapp in the late 90's, and of course the 80's but other than the odd season here and there we haven't really been close to them. Certainly not in the...

Re: David Moyes: should he stay or should he go? [POLL]

I've just voted yes, was (and still am really) unsure but think he's done just about enough to be given a chance and could be the tonic we need to battle the board into spending what is needed. If he's backed then we can see what he's capable of. I don't think we'll attract a much higher calibre of ...

Re: David Moyes: should he stay or should he go? [POLL]

not really. slav made me feel represented at the club and at least attempted to play the football i wanted to see. if we're too hamstrung by the owners to expect anything better than one decent season in ten and relegation fights inbetween, that's the least i'd hope for. It was good when we had Pay...
