Re: The Mental Health Thread - (Help Contacts in First Post).

Sitting in Morrisons' Fort William car park after having a colonoscopy - it was all good news , no cancers , no polyps , bit of diverticulitis but nothing to worry about - next up will be another endoscopy I guess , though the guy who stuck the camera up my arse said ' I'm not sure what benefit you...

Re: os seating

UK athletics would of been better off with crystal Palace being revamped as the spuds wanted then they would of got a 365 stadium. What a load of utter ****ing *****. UK Diamond League meetings have to be held in Birmingham because Crystal Palace is such a ****hole and no amount of "upgrading&...

Re: Standing areas at The Olympic Stadium

The fact that standing on terraces is deemed to suddenly become unsafe if a club is good enough at the game to play for three consecutive seasons in the second tier is also ludicrous. How good the club is isn't the pertinent factor, the size of the crowds is. Not even the pre-Hillsborough Leppings ...

Re: Now Hearn wants to ground share

His 3 options, or what he perceives to be his options: House of Lords - while the select committee lapped up Hearns bravado, the Constitutional Reform Act 2005 took away the right of the HoL as the final court of appeal; therefore they have no real power, perhaps just to debate/bring to the attenti...

Re: National Athletics Centre

It seems the capacity for the Anniversary games at the Olympic stadium has been cut to 65,000. looks banged out to me so how /why have they cut the attendance down by 15000? Very strange! Tried to find out why but no luck. Especially as it sold out in no time and I could not get a ticket? WTF is th...

Tent-like in structure (usually pylon/cable supported, like the O2).

Very light, strong, very low maintenance.

Re: Now Hearn wants to ground share

I thought the plug was pulled because of the complaint to the EU being made. Is correct - not only it would have caused huge delays, but would have put every regeneration scheme in the country under threat, since most are structured in a similar way to the original plan. But WHU weren't too unhappy...

Re: The future of the Boleyn Ground and Upton Park

Was looking for somewhere to post this link and thought it was best suited to a thread about the future sale and redevelopment of Upton Park. Apologies if one already exists. Anyway, reading this, I can't help feeling that this is what the Daves avoided by pursuing their Olympic dream. http://www.g...

Re: Supporter Consultation

We don't actually know how many STH voted, or bond holders or members do we .What we do know is it is possible that around half , as a minimum, of current STH did not vote . And it is a long-established principle of democracy that those who do not vote do not care. Those who cared enough to be move...

Re: When can we expect a decision?

The debt would not be such an issue if the club's value rises by multiples as is apparently expected by all, including the LLDC (hence Boris's profit clawback clause). The current owners appear at times infatuated by it but you dont see Man U having too many problems and their debt is huge. Well, i...

In with a much better chance of being in that super league - which is way beyond us at the moment.
