Here's a deal

I won't mention Chalobah if you don't mention Gibbs-White?

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

If either Newcastle or Villas manager left in the summer to go to man utd (ie not sacked) I do not believe either would go for Moyes if available, they would look to Europe imo. Maybe Marco Silva. I'm pretty sure any team outside of the usual CL teams would appoint Moyes as first/second choice if s...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

I can confidently predict that neither Aston Villa’s nor Newcastles hierarchy would be looking in the direction of David Moyes if either of them part ways with there manager The hierarchy that appointed Gerrard or Dean Smith wouldn't appoint Moyes? The hierarchy who may face some serious FFP issues...

Re: Out of Contract Players June 30 2024

I think Coufal and Antonio will stay... irrespective of manager I think Johnson has already gone based on most of the hear-say. The rest? I'd say it depends on Moyes decision to stay or go... but most will likely be gone. With Mubama they'd be smart to not let is go to a tribunal and let him go to s...

Amen to that!

He isn't a Paqueta replacement... so I'm not sure why he appeals to so many.

Closer to JWP than Paqueta for me.

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

What would rule him out of some jobs is the way the clubs operate and the fact that we seem to be wanting to move in that direction (I think anyway), so teams like Brentford, Bournemouth and Brighton would be no-no's. I wouldn't be surprised if Everton turn to him again or other clubs who struggle ...

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2024

How many did we sign in Pellegrini's first summer? 9? If we do have a bit of a clear out... plus get a significant sum for Paqueta... it isn't completely unbelievable that we might go big. Impressing a new manager is one of the few times Sullivan does open his wallet. Now if we buy 9 to the quality ...

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2024

A few of our backup slots can be plucked from the youth team, even if they aren't good enough, it sends a good message out to youngsters who might join us that we will give them a chance sometimes. And I don't mean whack them on for 45, just 10 or 15 here and there. I think this will depend on Euro...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

Christ it's a good job you don't do negative. The average before Moyes 2nd spell is 11.7. During this spell it's 10.25. ...all the while having a nett spend and wage bill (i.e., resources afforded to him) more in line with the first number than second. That's without even factoring in the impact Eu...

Because he wanted to go Chelsea

Once he decided he was leaving Man City he was only ever going there

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2024

Random name for shits and giggles

Kevin Denkey

26 goals in Belgium already this season... 23 year old Tongo International... been heavily scouted by Tottenham... available for about 20 million Euros

No idea of what he offers beyond that...

Not many positive words from him about some of the training ground infrastructure he has seen so far in England. Being directly asked about, if he meant our training ground he just smiled and gave us the "my mouth is shut". A tad harsh on the portacabins They came directly from a bunch of...

While I don't want to see Moyes go... I do feel like it's now inevitable and am resigned to it (a bit like I was last year at this point) Should we see a change, the manager I would most like to be seen given a shot that we've been seriously linked to is Fonseca. He's had a few learning curves (Roma...
