Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2024

If we do go all in for Steidten, we’ve got to commit. Extra staff. Sign them up! Yep But Tim was right a few days back that it'll take time Irrespective of a new manager and lots of new, young signings, the bulk of the team next season will be many of the experienced players in the team now. Areola...

I am Legend wrote: Fri Apr 19, 2024 4:16 pm Sarri link was a small Italian/Rome news website. I don't know if its got Sulli fingers on it, more likely some ITK journo or complete BS for clicks.
Hopefully the last option...

Otherwise it might be true and Sulli is looking for a Pelli v2

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

I guess the argument is though, that he was at the very least complicit in allowing the squad to get into the poor state it is now. (usual disclaimer that Sullivan is ultimately to blame) I guess sometimes in life you need to make choices. Especially when working on a limited budget... Moyes choice...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

Sarri... I do like him but at 65 years old, he's surely got one eye on retirement. Is the hunger still there? I'd prefer someone younger myself. As I said in the transfer thread... feels like Sulli is leaking a few names to let people know he is in charge. Sarri, Lopetegui are very much in the moul...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

You're right of course, but i was trying to build a bridge! Admirable... but misplaced. People think that removing the manager will lead to a united fanbase, but nothing could be further from the truth. It's simply a reflection of modern (I say modern... but it's probably always been like that) day...

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2024

Lopetegui... Sarri... feels very much like someone is leaking managers names to re-affirm who is in charge of the next pick. Sulli still very much in charge.

Like Lopetegui, he'd have very predictable tenure here.

Tell Cooper to sit tight for 18 months.

Re: Crystal Palace v West Ham Utd - Match Thread

Go strong... approach this game (and all of the last games) like last night until the players can no longer stand. Europe is still there for us. Win a few win-ables... beat Chelsea... go toe to toe (ala last night) with Man City and Liverpool. Leave it all out there. Emerson for Cresswell, Obgonna f...

His reaction when he was taken off was brilliant too.

Re: West Ham Utd v Bayer Leverkusen: match thread (2nd leg)

I've made a point of not taking these Thursday nights for granted, absolutely loved every second of it. If that is the last one for a while, it makes me genuinely sad, but immensely proud at the same time. Likewise If that was to be Moyes' last European game in charge, then despite the outcome, he ...

Re: ✍ Welcome Edson Álvarez

The bookings were so random at the end last night he probably got booked for daring to smile.

Irrespective of who the manager is or what set up we adopt next season, this geezer will be paramount to it. I'd give him the captaincy and make him know how much he is loved.

I was proud to be West Ham last night.

Whatever happens from here... thanks for these European nights Moyes and co. I'll never forget this great period of being a supporter.

Brilliant from them all

Can't ask for more in terms of effort and guts

You did yourselves proud, the manager and coaching team proud, us proud.

Put that in between now and then end of the season and the European dream can continue

There are three things that I have complete and utter faith in, and that I will believe until the day I die:- 1. My wife is the best person I have ever or will ever meet. 2. Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

Lopetegui Yep, yep... that feels about right. Yep... definitely Sullivan making the decision. Very Grant. Very Pellegrini. Very vanity. Higher profile name with a higher profile salary here for the joy of the paycheque. 18 months at max before he's lost the will to work with Sullivan (ala Wolves...)...

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2024

Surely Jonathan David is gonna move this summer with only one year left. When I have seen him he doesn't look good enough for the likes of Arsenal as previously touted but he has looked like a hard worker and team player with good speed and quality. Does his defensive duties and presses that Moyes ...
