Who is this Eug person?
Some say a legend, other just a myth. His true story is lost in the mists of time but he will always be remembered for the brave stand he took against the pathetic sheep on here to defend the honour of the 'best connected football stadium in the world'.

You were getting a wee bit naughty there. Careful the next time you come in!

(On that subject, funny how it was said to be sexist, even though he said she might get a slap 'even though you're a woman.' BBC really played it up!)
Yeah, in a way it’s the BBC that were at fault....

Re: ⚽ Manchester City v West Ham United: MATCH POSTPONED (09/02)

I doubt uefa will allow it to be on tv live As it clashes with their champions league coverage of spurs I think that night Had we been a 545 kick off we could have been on tv https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11661/11931538/man-city-vs-west-ham-rearranged-for-february-19-and-live-on-sky-sport...

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

Ancelotti’s stats are something like 1 loss in the last 7 for Everton while Moyes’s are 1 win in 7. You get what you pay for. https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/proxy/IBXaVaB_5WosfxCmR6ElWvKNnzQKoPUdLHPR6GGNZMIsO2xQBARWW4hxY3CN7In6UHfQbqIAY6f7VBloAUCa9sQ__OSF-Jrtty9rKii7eHmBzW516ntc12meSsy2CJiWQJTyQ...

Probably speaks more about the modern football fan rather than anything.
Yes modern football fans understanding that Moyes is not a modern football manager and expecting more for the exorbitant ticket prices they pay.

The fact he has never won anything and couldn't get a job with anyone but our owners suggests otherwise.

He's wasn't desperate! Don't you ever say that! He's talented and beautiful and in high demand!

Here is an article from 1996 that explains why I'm right....

You'd be hard pressed to find a manager that hadn't been sacked from somewhere.
And sometimes they'll even go back if they get no other offers...

Re: Sunday Supplement

Are you sure it's not a case of us being disappointed that Sky apologised, after being convinced they wouldn't. And hence looking for a glimmer of rebellion. Surely if Sky had wanted to put one over on Sullivan, they cold have done a bit of research and refuted parts of the statement (i.e. as the bi...

Re: Sunday Supplement

I'm not convinced by the whole 'Sky knew what they were doing...carefully selected shots of Haller etc' argument.

I think they simply bricked it and read out Sullivan's letter. I think anything else is seeing what we want to see.

you have to wonder if everyone learned the wrong lessons from the bournemouth game. moyes had one coaching session before it, he said himself in the post match that he couldn't take the credit for it. we played a pellegrini formation and pellegrini tactics, albeit with more hustle and verve. since ...

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

Everton haven't! Even Watford played less games. Having to play the most energetic side in the league midweek robbed us of stamina in the second half. Our players are not fit enough, and that is due to their preseason and subsequent training not being challenging enough to build the required fitnes...
