Re: Leicester City v West Ham United: Match Thread

Leicester in poor form you say? Exit stage right West Ham to provide them a welcome boost.

Their pace will be too much for us. Despite Zab having his best game for us in ages, 2 games in a week is too much. Can’t see Moyes risking an untried youngster or tinkering with the formation

Re: Kumbers you’ve wanted to share a pint with

Been fortunate enough to have a pint with many, both well known and under the radar posters. But missing from the list Major is certainly one I’d like to encounter

Re: Weekend Fixtures 18/19/1/20

I like sourness, but the pre match, this is a proper stadium, for proper players bit grated too. I admit I used to like my ventures there, despite the awful results, but since the development it’s suffered. And that famous atmosphere only appears at random, sporadic, usually televised moments. I ima...

Re: West Ham United v Everton: Match Thread

Moyes love of lanzini over Fornals is beginning to be a problem. Lanzini has been woefully out of form for a long time, Pedro has been our best player in the last few weeks, yet still Dave persists.

Re: Weekend Fixtures 18/19/1/20

Sky have annoyed me already.

The usual cringeworthy’and it’s live’ from Martin Tyler seemed to be over prolonged, then instead of cutting to the usual quick ad, we get the bin dipper ensemble’s anthem.

Re: Protests against the board being planned

Nothing more to add really. Excellent speech UTJ, almost as good as your first one. It was more a show of numbers, and this was a decent start. Great to see some familiar faces, that the move and migration had helped disperse. The obvious lessons have been learnt by those organising, the message is ...

Re: Welcome (again), Darren Randolph

Nothing really against him. Underwhelmed largely last time round. Solid enough back up. Just don't understand the signing at all. Unneccesary in every way. Fab is quality. Had injury issues this season. Roberto. Not cut out for the English game. Some would argue goalkeeping in general. Martin. Done ...

Re: what pub have you been in today ? Rate it out of 10

According to the London Pub Explorer on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/londonpubexplorer/ The Boleyn Tavern, East Ham. Certain pubs have a magnetic pull and I’ve commented before how this gin palace-style building often directs you in off the street, as if on auto-pilot. It’s been operated by t...

Any truth in the rumour that this took so long to complete because every time someone threw him a pen to sign the contract he missed?

Fantasy Football (Non WHU)

Everything about West Ham winds me up lately. So as an aside to take my mind of things last night I thought of this. 1 host, 1 commentator, 1 co-commentator, 3 sudio panel team Host - Des Lynam Commentator - Barry Davies Co-commentator - Ron Atkinson Panel - Brian Clouugh, Slaven Bilic, Graeme Souness

Re: David Sullivan - Has he taken us as far as he can ?

The next level down.

We should have looked at the terms and conditions.

A club based on loyalty and persistence, thrown into a chop and change regime with no clue because our ‘saviours’ care more about short term profit above all else

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions

The problem is we do everything on the cheap. From top to bottom. We have a rented stadium at a rock bottom price because the landlords were terrified of a white elephant and we were the only viable option. Our corporate offering is shameful, embarrassing and not befitting a league one outfit. It’s ...

Re: VAR - yes or no ?

I'm still for it. I was and still am fed up of being cheated pit of games, especially against big teams, bumpy poor officiating. Like Liverpool last year when Salah was 5 yards offside before crossing for the opening goal, or Silva diving for City. There have been problems with implementation and I...

Re: VAR - yes or no ?

Still a no from me.

Still playing a global game under 2 sets of rules. Still playing certain competitions under 2 sets of rules. Still unreliable. Still unclear of how to actually use it. Still killing the human side of football.
