Re: Hammers on Loan 2019/20

Even in that highlights video, fantastic goal aside, he was absolutely everywhere in every attacking play, in the right places bearing down on goal. Really encouraging to see.

Re: ⚽ West Ham United v Norwich City: Match Thread

Anderson on fire today, what a difference that makes to the point where it was almost Payet-esque. Everyone else stepped up as a result and we could've had 5 or 6 easily on another day, fair play Tim Krul. Do not understand why the Haller penalty, and it was a penalty, wasn't reviewed by VAR... madn...

Straight over to high five his physio and medical staff in the stand, bless him. Likeable bloke by all accounts.

Re: ⚽ West Ham United v Norwich City: Match Thread

Watching on a stream so I can't tell for sure but it sounds awfully quiet over there, don't recall hearing a song yet. Think I heard Norwich ask if it was a library.

Fornals for Yarma at some point after HT but no major changes necessary.

Re: Who should be our 'Team' captain?

Seems like the rule of thumb lately has been to give it to whoever has been around the longest, loosely at least (Arnie was to appease him I reckon). Think I saw Antonio have it the other day?

Excited by this prospect. He does look ever so comfortable there for his age and loves to get involved

Re: Ryan Fredericks signing confirmed

Taken from Squakwa on Twitter: Ryan Fredericks' game by numbers vs. Southampton: 100% take-ons completed 100% aerial duels won 100% tackles won 10 aerial duels 7 recoveries 4 take-ons 4 tackles 4 clearances 4 fouls won 2 interceptions 2 shots 1 goal 1 clean sheet 0 fouls conceded That is absolutely ...

Re: ⚽ Tottenham Hotspur V West Ham United: Match Thread

Diop came in after a few games out and put in an absolutely monster performance, Rio-esque. Fredericks was immense after a 10 minute teething period, knew what needed to be done and where to be at the right times. Noble... take a bow son, was like watching Pirlo out there.

Happy days :scarfer:

Re: Boxing thread

Beggars belief, that. Wilder by 4????? On your ****ing bike judge, proper bent. Full credit to Tyson Fury, he can be an ****hole in and out of the ring but nobody can deny the man the kudos he deserves for coming back from rock bottom to getting sparked out by Deontay Wilder and still rising and win...

Re: Women's team

Sorry to talk about the Women's team, but I was surprised to see that our tall centre-forward Ellie Zoepfl was let go. She looked our best player from the little I saw last year. I think she even won an award. Aye, she won the women's player of the year at the award ceremony. Not sure what's gone o...

Re: Boxing thread

This has been a nonsense.

GGG has won both fights and come out 0-1-1, no wonder he pissed off without an interview. Sour grapes, yes, but mugged off completely by the judges.

Re: West Ham Utd v Wolverhampton Wanderers match thread (01/09)

Welp, Sanchez has just undone everything I praised him for earlier. Keeping it real here... I think we'll see a lot worse teams than Wolves show up at our place this season, they are quite fluid and a decent football playing side. We did get better but we need to either get clinical in a hurry or at...

Also Sanchez dictating where he wants the rest of his teammates to be with arm gestures, he knows what he's doing.

Re: West Ham Utd v Wolverhampton Wanderers match thread (01/09)

Sanchez been our best player in my eyes, considering so many said he was s***, not sure if that means so many were wrong or it’s just the rest of our teams crap and making him look good Was about to say this. I quite like him in there, bags of experience and starts every move collecting the ball fr...
