Re: England v Montenegro

Interesting. 4 goals against decent teams. The rest against ***** mainly. Wayne Rooney 5- San Marino 4 - Croatia; Switzerland 3 - Iceland; Kazakhstan 2 - Andorra; Belarus; Brazil; Bulgaria; Denmark; Estonia; Montenegro; Poland; Scotland; Slovakia; Slovenia 1 - Argentina; Australia; Ecuador; France;...

Re: The lies that tarnished West Ham's good name

As we've been up and down between the top 2 leagues in this country more times than a whore's draws , I'd like to think our fan base would have accepted that not being able to get a draw at home to fellow strugglers Wigan on the last day, meant that we were not good enough to stay in the top league...

Re: VAR - yes or no ?

VAR isn't to blame - that just provided a means to confirm the infringement. The sub interfered with the ball before it had properly left the pitch and the booking and penalty/direct free-kick are the correct punishments as decreed by FIFA. And it wasn't accidental as The Sun reported it either - t...

VAR called a penalty and a booking for a German sub who was warming up behind the goal.
Read about that this morning.
Ridiculous decision but one that VAR produced, so it must be obeyed.

Just done a huge poo, so huge that the weight pushed it round the bend leaving nothing in the pan, wipe, nothing there, I am hugely impressed this morning with my work. Thought I would share, only downside is I did not get to pat it on the head to say thank you.

Re: Little things that irritate you

Going to work at 9PM only to find that all the mummies on the school run with their 4 x 4's are illegally parking on both side of the street, so their little darlings can be accompanied all the 5 meters from the car to the very edge of the school gates, where they stand and wave them off, to ensure...

Re: Christmas Watch 2019

I have banned the word within my team until 1 December, then they can use it all the time for all I care.
I went to a garden centre in July (JULY!) and they were putting up a stand for fake trees.

In August 2019, Thunberg sailed across the Atlantic Ocean from Plymouth, UK, to New York, US, in a 60 ft racing yacht equipped with solar panels and underwater turbines. The trip was announced as a carbon-neutral transatlantic crossing serving as a demonstration of Thunberg's declared beliefs of th...

Everything about her just irritates me. Sub 300 on a good track, looking at a 150 deficit I reckon, unless we find a silver bullet for Smith
Smith will knock off half that score on his own.
Labuschagne will get a few too.

Re: Heating Watch 2019

Don't care what time of year it is, if I'm a bit nippy, it's going on. That's the point in having it. Gave it a blast out last night and this morning. Clicked on at 12 degrees this morning and 15 last night. Didn't take long to click off again, job done. Can't see the point in these 'rules' about 1...
