Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions

Take your point Watford but IMO Stevenage is much better.-I live near there so go now and again. The seats are much nearer than at LS.You dont have stewards cheering when the away team score. And the home sections are filled with Stevenage supporters!! I will happily (or sadly) accept that LS is the...

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions

i don't think it's up there with the worst. i think it is the worst (in the FL92 at least). I tend to agree. My only reservation being at what point are you in territory where you can’t really draw a comparison. For example, I thought Stevenage was god awful. Devoid of any character. By an industri...

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions

If there was to be another protest, it can only ever be about results on the pitch now. We could dress it up however we wanted, but we have sent our own message already. Lose games = people will turn out. 8,500. Win games = (many) people will not. 400 odd. So whatever we say, however we protest, wha...

Re: Fan Engagement Plan: WHUST respond to criticism (see page 10)

Hi Mike, Thank you for your contributions. Just a quick point regarding Andy’s! I am the Andy (Byrne) who spoke at the march. I have followed this thread but tended not to post. I am a HU committee member and the thread is of interest to me, but I do not want to try and sway people one way or the ot...

Re: Fan Engagement Plan: WHUST respond to criticism (see page 10)

I don't expect to be appreciated, valued or heard by whoever owns West Ham. Two reasons: 1. It's never happened. The Cearns family were "as old as the hills and twice as secretive" (copyright OLAS, I think) 2. It can't work. How can the club hear, value and appreciate tens of thousands of...

Re: Fan Engagement Plan: WHUST respond to criticism (see page 10)

The short version of my 2 pennies worth is… Vote for the supporters groups reps. Vote for the chair and vice chair. Vote to re-elect them or vote to replace them. Repeat. Guessing the rationale for that is probably obvious, but incase anyone is interested here is mine… As a supporter of a football c...

Re: Away Tickets Thread - New Season, we go again.

Anyone know what Luton allocation is likely to be?

I’m assuming they don’t give the whole stand behind the goal? Have a feeling their seg line is in that stand?!

We missed out by the odd point on Bournemouth, just wondering if it’ll be the same story for Luton!?!

Re: Away Tickets Thread - New Season, we go again.

If you didn't do Europe aways and started 2 seasons ago you would currently be on 12 points. You would have the home matches from last season and Derby and Man Utd away in the Cup and Man City in the league. You would just have had enough for the Conference Final (24 points). Started last season wi...

Re: Away Tickets Thread - New Season, we go again.

Without any away European games you would not be anywhere near getting one for Brighton away this week - without the points for those away games on that spreadsheet, you got almost nothing in the Premier League last season (I think Man City away would be all they would have got) It is only the away...

Re: Away Tickets Thread - New Season, we go again.

We were on 44 end of last season and never missed out on a 3000 allocation, seems a bit odd I think the amount of tickets you purchased in 2022-23 has seen you slip down the queue for 2023-24. As I guess you would have ended 2021-22 having purchased tickets worth 25 points, but only purchased ticke...

Re: Away Tickets Thread - New Season, we go again.

Looks like Brighton away is sold out at 19 points

A little lower than I expected.

I think someone who bought a season ticket two seasons ago, who didn’t do any European aways, could have got one.

One of the more popular aways and the first away of the season for many!

Re: Priority Points.

Pretty much hit the nail on the head - I think some people cannot really understand how much things cost and that West Ham isn't the end of the world for those with families where other things have just become more important to them in life. Those who cannot afford going home and away games should ...

Re: Priority Points.

Last season, unless you went to away European games (or were lucky in some ballots) you would only have got tickets to Derby and Man U in the cup and probably Man City in the league And even if you include European games - you would only add Viborg and Bucharest (unless you could sort out getting t...

Re: Priority Points.

Because the most popular away games sell out to those with 20-30 points and if you have fewer it is difficult to increase your own points total. But if there weren’t any European games everyone would have fewer and the sales points would be lower. It’s all relative. And any season ticket holder has...

Re: Priority Points.

officeboy wrote: Mon Jul 10, 2023 12:35 am Very helpful explanation - but on non European seasons it would take a lot longer than 3 seasons to become eligible for almost all away games because you would hardly get tickets to any away games in the Premier League
Why would this be the case?

Re: Ticket Forum Feedback Thread

Have used kumb a couple of times for tickets and always managed to get them. Westham Dave has helped a few times (top bloke). Recently tried to get two tickets for Leicester away and I received a pm from HarvWHU292 ( Harvey Pritchard) he told me he had three tickets available but wanted to sell the...
