Re: Migrants crossing the Channel
What would be good is if they could interview as many of the arrivals yesterday and ask them if the Rwanda plan would have stopped them. Not many if any at all would say it's a deterrent I would think. It's a costly sham. Sunak will be happy to let it drift on and hope it gets block so he can use it...

It's more or less halfway between Cologne and Düsseldorf. Slightly closer to Cologne. I prefer Düsseldorf of the two. Can't go wrong with either really.

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions
I should have added that was a good hour before kick off. So very few people inside, despite the weather but ever clear that the early bird savers are not well advertised. So much so I totally forget if we were within the saver timescale or not.

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions
Very rarely buy a beer at the stadium. Did yesterday as met up with a mate in there whom not seen for a while. Ordered 3 x Brixton Ales from the inner concourse. One served out then there was an issue with the pump/ barrel. The server guy was very apologetic and offered Moretti 's for the next two. ...

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2024
BBC Gossip round up Saturday. West Ham boss David Moyes has spoken to family members of Bournemouth's 26-year-old English striker Dominic Solanke about a possible summer move. (Football Transfers) West Ham could target Arsenal's 23-year-old English midfielder Emile Smith Rowe in the summer transfer ...

Leeds now into an automatic promotion spot according to the radio. my mate in 'ouston will be over the proverbial..... they've really been cracking on. and especially at this stage of the season. didn't they beat Leicester or one of the other promotion competitors recently too ? They did beat Leice...

Bottom line is both acts are/were wrong ( explaining
'wrong' is another untold story).
A newsworthy item largely lost in the budget coverage.

Re: The Sunak Government 2022-
The wasting taxpayer money bit or the slinging unfounded accusations bit? Both combined. The libellous and untrue accusation followed by using tax-payers money to pay for the legal fees, the cost of which will eventually be exposed. I am probably going back a long way but ministers did often offer ...

At a later time get a print ( or two) of the game details from Reece as a great souvenir of their first game from Reece. Highly recommend.

See the Supporter Services stewards on the outside concourse, usually by the bridges. You can get freebies for your children from them, usually player related stickers I think?

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions
I was in different stands for the Ipswich and final game. Both incredible but the Play- Off win the way it felt the roof was going to come off after the Etherington strike and the the whole stadium felt like it was rocking. Might be because I was in the BML lower at the time of the Ipswich win and h...

'Ex' and his mate Dave spoke at the start of the week about facing Burnley with a new man in charge, fearful of the new manager bounce. Stating that Kompany had been sacked. How odd.

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions
I was thinking what price we should charge fans non season ticket in differing parts of the ground. We are clearly the easiest club in London to get tickets for making it a tourist destination…..maybe make it more expensive for them…these people actually buy half and half scarves Club Members, over...

Same here. Maternal Grandad QPR, from close to Loftus Road. Always will be my second team, the stadium always felt like a similar smaller Boleyn Ground. Stan was the man.psychoscoredthelot wrote: ↑Sun Feb 25, 2024 12:38 pm
