Re: West Ham Utd v Liverpool: match thread

Moyes will play a false number 9 flooding the midfield. Start with a formation of 5 & 5, false No.9 - answers on a postcard who that will be. I'm going for Sanchez, utilise his pace, hold up play, guile & mercurial passing ability. This will lead to a hard fought 0-5, with one shot on target for us ...

Re: Kobe Bryant

Nice post Denzil

One of the true greats of the game for sure, all of it is incredibly sad.

I see BBC cocked up last night, posting a clip of LeBron, muppets!

Re: West Ham United v West Bromwich Albion: FAC4R Match Thread

Joe Cole  My god we were awful for large parts of the game, I just don't know where our goals are coming from open play?? We really are a shower of **** at the moment. Out the cup and all we have to look forward to is a relegation fight, and today, the only thing that may keep us up is 3 worse...

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

Anyway, as I say, it's all speculation until we see the books, and even then, I suspect the section marked "post balance sheet events" will be where the action is. Agree, balance sheet & working capital for me is always the biggest tell of where the business is heading. P&L is up to a 12 month snap...

Re: West Ham United v West Bromwich Albion: FAC4R Match Thread

I'm bringing a couple of newbies as well, apologies to the majority that I am looking forward to it and I hope we stuff them :D Will gave Slav a cheer & clap before the game, but during I hope he makes loads of tactical errors and allows our quick & fast moving football to create 32 chances meaning ...

Re: Has my fire really gone out ?

Lincoln, you were me 2/3/4 years ago, resulting in me throwing my ST back 18 months ago. I used the money and went to other events, weekends away, other sports etc, had a great time. Started to get a little love back for football (think it was Southgate/England) which then led me back to going to We...

Re: Jeans

I know my luck. If I bought them, the first time I wore them, I'd step straight in dogshit.. :D I spent a lot on a designer suit, had it tailored for a perfect fit etc. Couple of times of wearing it a mug of black coffee down the front, dry clean almost got it back to new, but if you looked closely...

In regards to comfort, arguably not I would suggest to my superstars (which are like slippers), in regards to how you feel if those £500 trainers makes you feel good inside and da man/woman then they are worth it to that person.

It would have been a 3 at Upton Park

Re: Jeans

half a shoe  I think the red sock/trainers look alright & very comfortable, my boy has a couple of similar pairs (different colour/name) but same sort of style, cost about £200 I think, he loves the look & comfort. I use to spend fortunes on my threads, calmed down somewhat over the last few ye...

Re: England Cricket: tour of South Africa

Wood is a fitness doubt for the final test apparently Sigh Gutted for him & us, I like Wood as a person and as a cricketer, some sportspeople are just very unlucky. Buttler needs to have a good test for sure. A very talented player that I still think could be an asset to the test team, but in Foake...

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

Moyes must see Fornals differently to me, especially playing the laughably out of form Lanzini in front of him, I don't get it. Not saying Fornals is mustard, but the fella puts it in and tries more than most in our current team. Moyes must be having his coffee & eggs this morning looking at our fix...

Re: How much do you care about relegation?

In regards to the football, where we play it's a zero for me. It all really depends on what the parasites do, by going down does that mean they stay longer ruining our club??? If someone can answer that and say they would stay longer my zero would be a 5. As others have mentioned, if we drop 2 divis...

Samba  I have never ever seen that argument regarding the issue for some of todays problems. Using your argument, Adolf's final solution may well have killed 6 more Adolf's, although they may have possibly been called Abraham and may well have wiped the world totally out...or, population explod...

Re: Little things that irritate you

Ditto for my mum. If she could have seen herself and how she'd end up, she'd be the first one over to Switzerland. She was a very proud woman and that was always something she said didn't want to happen to her. Trouble is, it creeps up on people until they think not knowing where or even who you ar...

Re: Protests against the board being planned

My initial thoughts on the Guv not speaking was a bad decision (although I doff my cap for the reason why), as we needed a "proper" voice as to the real reasons why the protest went ahead and why it will gather momentum. Reading up after & looking at the media it would appear that it was totally the...
