Re: David Martin

That is fantastic. Why it’s still worthwhile. I saw Alvin play in our youth team and went to Wrexham for his debut, which went badly wrong. How lovely that these stories go full circle. Just for you mate: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=KXXm4NhmQ-8 If only a time tunnel existed to take us back to tho...

Re: Who Next? The odds

If it’s Moyes then we really have reached rock bottom. Would be an appointment devoid of imagination and ambition. I’d rather take a chance on Bowyer or Parker who at least have passion for the club, just a shame it’s two seasons too early for them.

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

I want us to win just to spite Pelligrini. He is dying to jump ship. Will be funny watching him suffer through the Christmas schedule. Agreed. His attitude and demeanour is a carbon copy of Jose at United this time last year, provoking the chairman into paying him off. He’s an insult to our club an...

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

His selections today will say everything about how much he wants to force his payoff. I’d happily wave him goodbye provided he was replaced with a bright young manager. Timing is everything though and 12-18 months too early for the likes of Bowyer, Parker or the Cowley’s, as the next generation behi...

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

Interesting article on Rafa on MailOnline today.. apparently he’s the third best paid coach in the world at present whilst working in China. I won’t be rushing down to William Hill to throw away a tenner on him ditching that to join the chuckle brothers and Bagpuss..

The guy isn’t even subtle in how he’s angling for a pay off.. carbon copy of Jose this time last year..

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

Can’t stand the bloke due to his attitude and general manner, which are an insult to the club and us as fans. Sadly, the media spotlight also on Emery and Silva, means Sullivan can stay hiding behind the sofa rather than take decisive action. I’m guessing the experience with Zola, our last bright, i...

He looks disinterested and seemingly unable to motivate the players.
Spot on, says it all. Comes to something when still in November, our seasons’ fortunes hinge on the return of a goalkeeper (albeit an excellent one).. and the owners think we’re a top six club

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

People would also turn their noses up at Sean Dyche, but look at the job he is doing at Burnley. They are really punching above their weight. I wouldn’t. The statement that Dyche, Wilder and Howe will have thrown at them every time is that they’ve not managed a ‘big club’ and managed £50m players. ...

I’d rather Noble was given the same opportunity as say Gerrard Frank or OGS rather than another foreign, disinterested mercenary.

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

He gives me the impression that he’s only here for the money and knows full well that a decent pay off and Christmas in Santiago beckons. His disinterested and demotivating demeanour reminds me so much of Jose at the end of his United reign. I lost faith in him after his Oxford selection, compared t...

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

Fagin is following the tried and tested Jose payoff in time for Christmas model, looking and sounding totally disinterested, mucking about with non-sensical selections (Zabaleta vs Newcastle) and generally goading the owners into paying him off.

Re: Pochettino leaves Spurs.

This clearly goes a lot deeper than is apparent I feel. The guy is absolute class given what he achieved firstly working for Levy, didn’t spend a penny in two windows, reached a CL final and played some fantastic attacking football. If I was Woodward I’d snap him up, no compensation payment and the ...
