Re: West Ham Utd v Bayer Leverkusen: match thread (2nd leg)

Need an early goal and a few more to even consider winning this game. Would love a 2-2 draw and winning on penalties. Got my uncle coming over from Australia and attending his first game (thanks to a fellow Kumber having a ticket for sale). He hasn't been to a game since 2015, so first time at the O...

Re: Masters predictions

Did they?

I guess I was looking at the big names that had gone across like Rahm, Koepka

Re: Masters predictions

I think I worked it to me scoring a grand total of 1 point, assuming I've done it correctly. I thought it was pretty a boring Master to, it was interesting when the top 3 or 4 were close on Sunday but that soon faded away and it was a stroll. I'm usually glued to the TV watching it but it was mainly...

Re: ✍️ Welcome Lucas Paquetá - Our Brazilian Magnifico

The fact that he has already agreed terms with Man City, apparently, really sticks with me. Shows that he can't be too bothered if we stay in Europe, finish 7th or 14th as he going anyway. At least when Rice stayed he played his heart out for those final games. Different characters I know. Would hat...

Re: Season ticket renewal 24/25

Just had a heart in mouth moment!!! Reading the above thread I kept seeing the date 12th April and thought, in my mind, that's ages away only to release its today! Then I thought the 12th April was the deadline to renew so got all anxious that I need to renew today only to look a bit further into it...

Re: Bayer Leverkusen v West Ham Utd Europa QF 1st leg match thread

If we get the tactics right next week and we get an early goal then its game on but with all the injuries and bans its a mammoth task. I thought we defended really well and was solid as a unit but got undone by talent coming off the bench. I still don't see why we don't bring Ings or Cornet on. are ...

Re: The Golf Thread

Just got Top Tracer fitted at our local range. Itching to get down there and try it out and get some numbers on the board.

Our pro at my golf course has a sim which he rents out, been on it once. I think the walls and ceiling of his shed where more in danger than anything else!

Re: The Golf Thread

Improving or practicing your short game will knock shots of your handicap very quickly. I very rarely use my driver at the range and instead practice chipping into the nets out on the range. I now play bump and runs if possible for anything that is short of the green within 20/30 yards. Does depend ...

Australia - To really know if the place is crawling with everything that can kill you New Zealand - Because there are no venomous animals there, or so I'm told! Canada - To do the Rockies via train America - Texas or anywhere cowboy related. I quite fancy doing a cattle drive or sitting in a proper ...

Re: Wolverhampton Wanderers v West Ham United - match thread

This is terrible.

Seems like they’re not interest in this game.

Might be saving themselves for Europe but play like this and we’ve only got two games left in that competition.

Then the season will slowly petter out as we finish below 10th.

Must remember my pending season ticket renewal.

Re: The Golf Thread

Drove all the way to Woburn on Wednesday, all set to play the Dukes course on Thursday only to get a call at 8am to say they have closed the course due to a monsoon overnight! Absolutely gutted but at least they gave us a full refund! Drove all the way back and played the course I'm a member off and...

Re: Need a new car

So the test drive of the Mustang Mach-E is complete. Pros 370 fully charged and I managed to drive from Harlow to Billericay, then to Milton Keynes and back then to Billericay and back to Harlow and ended up with 20% battery remaining (or 50miles), this was the extended range, all wheel drive model....

Thought I'd bump this thread up the page as it was in danger of slipping off the front page! Off to Milton Keynes tonight and playing Woburn tomorrow morning, hoping the rain holds off or only light drizzle. On the plus side it will make the greens softer so hopefully my chip sots will stick rather ...

I've got an infestation of snails in my back garden, loads of the, big ones, small ones all over the small shed roof.

Hoping them don't try and get inside the house, the slimy horrible things.

Re: ✍ Welcome, Kalvin Phillips

I'm thinking he will start tonight and hoping he has a good game. One crunching tackle from him (preferably not in the penalty area) early doors to get the crowd going. I'm also hoping we get VAR decision go our way, 94 minute either disallowing a Son goal, after he he done his stupid celebration an...

Re: VAR 2023/24

When you listen to the audio, primarily, on Ref Watch on Sky, the chaps in the VAR room sound like a load of screeching banshees when going through the process, it sounds like they are screaming and shouting in the earpiece of the ref all game. I still go back to the rugby and cricket VAR equivalent...

Absolute do poo.

So much space we’re giving them.

Absolutely thrown it away with ***** substitutions and trying to defend when we all know we can’t.
