Re: Summer transfer talk/rumours

I would be okay with no one coming in provided we start the season with a fit squad.

I would like to see us move on a couple though poss Bowyer, Davenport, LBM.

West Ham eyeing Triestina striker Granoche
tribalfooball.com - June 09, 2008

West Ham United are eyeing Triestina striker Pablo Granoche.
Granoche is regarded as one of the best attacking talents outside of Serie A in Italy and is highly admired by new Hammers football chief Gianluca Nani.

Re: Summer transfer talk/rumours

From the other thread it says we are interested in Kanoute. Not sure about him but he is a class player but we were apparently meant to sign him before he went to seville but some sections of Hammers fans told Pards not too so he didnt. Was a lazy b**tard last time round, and was always being "misq...

Re: Alan Curbishley

Anjado good post totally agree. We have looked static at times and haven't been able to change shape to respond to situations. You can blame Curbs, but the people around him should also carry the can, I thought an assisitant was there to offer different options? I can remember Harry changing things ...

Re: Alan Curbishley

I just think there has been a lack of inventiveness in games at times. Where have been the formation changes, the trying an extra striker etc. Just watched the Arse against theives, and was thinking why cant we adapt to being behind instead of giving up and basically trying to use damage limitation....

Bored of this season now, bored of Curbs grounhog day after match comments, bored of Boa Morte and his ability to do nothing other than get booked and argue with the ref. Honeymoon period over now Mr Curbishley, I appreciate that you pulled together a team of primaddonas and saved us from relegation...

Re: Summer Transfer talk

I think the whole summer situation will be a damp squib. Curbs has already been hinting that we will only sign where we are short so probably at left back, and left wing. I can see some departures, Quashie, Pantsil, Gabbidon, Boa Morte, Zamora and possibly Cole. I think most will stay as squad playe...

Re: West Ham v Man City - FA Cup match thread

Thought we lacked a bit of creativity in the centre, once they closed off matty on the wing, we seemed to run out of ideas. Thought Bowyer should have been taken off at the hour mark, and switched freddie into the centre.

Worst performance of the night was Lawro on commentry Headbanger

For me Gabbidon was poor yesterday, looked lost at times, and caught out of position a lot.

Was happy with three points though

Still think we have improved on last season, if we had gone 1-0 down in 2mins last season, we would have ended up 6 down. Thought we let their midfield dominate second half, and got caught for pace on the second goal. Don't understand why Ferdinand was selected today, thought he caught out of positi...
