We should have given Moyes a season to get us organised and then seen if he could move us forward.
Moyes didn't enjoy moving forward as was borne out with 0 shots on target against lower league opposition. He thought the players would be disintegrated if they passed the halfway line. :asleep:

Re: Who Next? The odds

I honestly can't see any manager coming in and changing things without significant investment and I don't think they will have that. We may get a bit of a bounce when Fabianski comes back but the damage has been done in the summer. Hammer1975 and myself were almost exclusively raising concerns about...

Re: Who Next? The odds

If its Hughton or Dyche then I would rather stick with Pellers. Football under Hughton at Newcastle and Brighton was pedestrian and light up front so more of the same. Dyche is better but its not an ambitious signing. We are still mathematically close to the top of the table and we COULD get out of ...

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

Its our use of the full backs that is isolating Haller. We are one of the last clubs to use the outdated overlapping fullbacks. Most other clubs play the winger breaking and then play it back to the f*** on the 18 yard box. The winger then drops into the 18 yard box and draws the centre backs and cr...

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

They spend when they have to. A new Manager means an agreed transfer budget. Then season 2 etc. they revert to form. Its why if they get rid of Pellegrini it won't be until the end of January. They will give him 20p for a loan player and hope it pans out that they aren't in the relegation zone. Then...

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

Is that an analogy or an assumption as to what’s going on? Performance dropped after we hit our highest position so you can’t blame rumours about MPs job. Also as a manager I’d be inclined to change things. Change the shape, change the personnel etc etc. Except you weren't asking what the manager s...

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

If it’s not down to MP then who’s job is it to motivate a team? You work for a manager who has been a hard taskmaster. You don't like it but he is the manager and has the backing of the board so you either get on with it or leave. Then your manager stops getting invited to meetings with the board, ...

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

Bristol. I didn’t read in the small print that you could only post on here if you hate the owners. That seems to be the rule. It’s a very toxic environment that’s been created at Kumb to be honest with you (someone saying they hoped DAvid Gold would die as an example). I don’t seek to be accepted, ...

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

I can officially confirm from watching the games that they run less. I have a question or two. How do you watch the games? Are you a season ticket holder? You have previously stated that you are 'not emotionally attached' to the current West Ham squad, so why come on a web site to debate with peopl...

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

Funny enough, a company has to produce them each year. C&H is fed propaganda to suit an agenda. Its interesting how many can't see the connection. The Icelandic situation only happened because of the economic situation in Iceland and the subsequent financial crash. Prior to that the club was in a de...

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

Interesting read today across the various outlets. C&H interpreting net spend to show the board in a positive light, also showing a net loss since the premier league started. Then following up other outlets are running with stories about how Pellegrini went against the board to sign Wilshere and the...

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

For all of you who deride Colin , he would not tolerate performances like the **** Pellers has served up so far this season and that means, he would be a little more respectful to the fans who spend their well earned money travelling up places like Burnley to see our team scarcely venture into thei...
