Re: Boxing thread

Mitchell is a great fighter and personally think stepping up to fight Khan would be a great fight in the mould of Benn v Eubank.

Still not 100% convinced by Khan and think some of the classier, harder punchers in his division will cause him a great deal of trouble.

Re: Lawro at it again !

must admit hadn't heard of Friday until last year. What a ****ing legend, how many of us would love to have the opportunity to do what he did to Lawro?

Look him up on Wikipedia , it is a brilliant read.

Re: Lawro at it again !

what annoys me most is his mug punter reasons for selecting a score. Case in point, Sunderland this week. SUNDAY Sunderland v Portsmouth (1330) This one is interesting. Sunderland had a bit of a shocker against Wigan, but I don't think Roy Keane will let that happen again against Pompey. Pathetic re...

Re: West Ham Utd v Fulham: match thread

suppose so but that tends to be our MO at home. We'll probably miss as many chances against Fulham.

Re: West Ham Utd v Fulham: match thread

can't see us scoring 3 against anyone at home to be honest. Boro was the last time and we were lucky that day, not looked close to doing it since.

I think either a draw or a small win for West ham 1-0 or 2-1.

Re: West Ham v Reading match thread

I'm gonna get yellow carded for this, so I might as well make it worth the carrot. All you moaning, wingingeing, glass half empty ****ers make me sick. Really sick. I'm a West Ham who's stood shoulder to shoulder with real men defending a West Ham team that, if I was being honest at the time wasn't...

Re: lawro predicts....

Check put the way the **** REALLY puts his b*llocks on the line by doing virtually all his Boxing Day predictions on league position. The sort of bloke you see in bookies wearing the same clothes for about 50 years and stinking of Special Brew. About as shrewd as Mark Thatcher. Cock.

you'll give a sh*t when they bring in Mifsud, Dailly and Goater (or others of their ilk) to replace them. Would hate to watch that dross all over again. Then go fforth and multiply and support a successful team then! Whilst I am happy we have the players of the calibre of Ashton, Bellamy et al at t...

Why is it? Everyone thought it was the end of the world the last time we were relegated. A couple of seasons and more league grounds ticked off and we're back in the top flight. When (not if) we get relegated again, we'll get promotion again . Swapping a QF victory to ensure 3 points in the league ...

Or will I look back at the day we finished 5th in the Premier League?[/quote] you'll give a **** when they...

If I had the choice out of not winning the Cup and being safe, or winning the Cup but being relegated I'd choose winning the Cup. Really, I find that staggering to be honest. It would be an utter disaster, we'd go into the cup having lost our best players no doubt, be totally humiliated by other Eu...

But it was though bith in the first & secong halves in spells.. They were easily cutting through the heart of us, right down the ****ing middle on numerous occasions.. I'm intending walking the 3 miles from the station to the stadium tomorrow. Not been there before so does anyone know if this is actually possible or am I going to face traipsing down the grass verge of the A33 if there isn't a path.

they have a manager who still has the mentality of 'throw enough mud' when it comes to players - he has just had more money to do it lately. He also f*cked off to their nearest rivals for a season leaving them in the sh*t. Their fanbase is noisy, granted, but it has to be cos it is so small. they f...

well that was an enjoyable ride of 108 pages! the upshot is, that after all this speculation, he is going to f*cking Portsmouth???????????????? f*cking hell  his ambition must be right up there. Why do you say that? They arguably have a better team/squad than us, a better manager, die hard s...
