Re: The Mental Health Thread - (Help Contacts in First Post).

The wife has now not been talking to me for 3 solid days. I even tried to ask her how her day went yesterday and got blanked, she's been having a hard time at work and despite her being a twat, I thought I would see if she was alright. The reason she is not talking to me? Apparently the other night,...

Re: Little things that irritate you

Coz it was Tuesday yesterday... I feel your pain, still so unmotivated! I have been back at work 5 days including today, I reckon I have done 5 hours work tops, if someone checked my PC use all they would find is looking for holidays, KUMB, BBC, Amazon (just looking at buying **** as bored), and ge...

Re: Little things in life that make you smile

Can you imagine quite how confused your average glory hunting , Class of '92 supporting **** would be if they got relegated? You know, the sort of ****er who answers David Beckham when asked who is the best player to have ever played football

They just wouldn't understand it.

Should have saved the dough GCRO and sent him to that state school instead.

Range Rovers have got a horrific rep reliability wise.

I would stick with German, Jap or Korean.
Still ? Or historically.

I've had a couple of cars from JLR now , admittedly both Jags but both reliable, no problems =

Re: 2nd Hand Car Considerations

Best time of year to buy a motor in my opinion. Dealers have just two months to shift out their used stock and ex-demos before another glut of former PCP cars get returned to the dealer in time for the new plate on March 1st. My last 5 cars have all been ex-demo motors. Absolutely huge saving over ...

Re: 2nd Hand Car Considerations

If you’re seriously considering an RRS then get over to the relevant forum and do your research. Having had both a Disco 3 and a 4 I can vouch for the fact that they’re not cheap to run. The 3 used to cost a bomb, the 4 not so much as they upgraded a lot of the rubbish bits. In theory a 2 year old ...

Re: Bobby Madley: The truth?

I do feel for him. Presumably it was a completely 'harmless joke', in that the person in the video knew nothing about it, and the person it was sent to wasn't offended, but just leaked it to get him back. However, being a referee, like say a teacher, you need to maintain yourself as a person of goo...

Re: 2nd Hand Car Considerations

Obviously don't know your thoughts on car makes/models in general Whitey, but have you considered the Honda range? In my experience, they just don't let you down and never seem to know when they're beaten. A few years ago, I bought my second CR-V (first one lost an argument with the garden wall; lo...

Maybe .

Don't really see him being the type to do that and I think he's said whilst not expecting it, for him it would be an honour if it happened.

Re: 2nd Hand Car Considerations

Get a Kia. Built like tanks, 7 year warranty as standard. They're essentially just budget Hyundai's, i30 and the Cee'd are off the same production line, just have a different shell. I have considered it , quite like the Sportage and the warranty is very appealing. My last car was great but it almos...

Re: 2nd Hand Car Considerations

The lease vs buy thing depends on what car you want and mileage I guess. I always used to buy second hand, cars a few years old but in decent nick, pay cash or pay it off quick and then look after the car and keep it a few years. I also had a few older run arounds that I paid cash for, used for a b...

Why Jastons?

I've owned diesels before and they were fine.

Is your comment based on the fact that some manufacturers are tying to phase them out?

Re: 2nd Hand Car Considerations

I got a 3 year old Kia Cee'd which had about 22k on the clock about 18 months ago. 20k is nothing mate. It'll feel virtually new if it's been treated proper. Thanks mate, that was my thinking but I can just about put petrol in a car , such is my mechanical knowledge, so just wanted to check.

2nd Hand Car Considerations

Just wanted to ask for posters thoughts on 2nd hand cars. Recently sent my latest lease back, been carless for about 4 months but want to have a look for something now that the new year is here. Since I was around 25 , I've always bought new or leased, with the last one being a fair chunk of change ...

Ottsands, for being the only one that understood that pics or it didn't happen is an important rule.
I remember him posting pics of his wife in a very small bikini on a power boat.

Just needed an AK-47 to perfectly set the 80s theme.

Re: Formula1 2019

No Knighthood for Lewis..... It's embarrassing. Alistair Cook gets one the block headed chimp and nothing for someone who has achieved 100 times as much as Cook. Outside of cricket and its fans most people wouldn't pick him out in a crowd of one. Are they really going to make him equal Schumacher b...
