Yeah that is laughable.

Just makes you want to give up really, in a what's the ****ing point sort of way.

Wears nice suits though, I'll give him that. Probably be pissed off if a teenage girl spat on them .

Old Fart, if you are referencing darts players then you are going to have to be more specific than ,"the fat one "

Re: Formula1 2019

All fair points. I was disappointed when Rosberg quit after winning. I think the sport would have been far more interesting the last few years. Can't see why he did it either. I don't buy this he was scared of Hamilton line in the press and social media, he had shown on track in qualifying and races...

Yes I think he was. Fair enough. What about the other video? I just don't think he's a great example to kids or anyone else really. Look...I'm not saying he is the world's worst person but clearly , well to me anyway, he's a bit of a **** and a thick one at that . When youre a high profile sportsma...

Couldn't be bothered to turn up, used to be in my daughter's class at school she speaks quite highly of him Talking of stoving people's heads in,ask Hamilton why he left John Henry Newman in such a hurry See JBB's subsequent post. So cleared of any involvement . Do you have anything else he's not d...

Er no I don't think there is much personal accountability nowadays.

Doesnt really matter where you look. It's not just sport.

Re: Bbc spoty

The clue is in the name- Sports Personality of the year. I"d take Hamilton's personality over Stokes' Hamilton is somewhat bland but has so far avoided being the sort of cheeky 'character' that drunkenly stoves peoples heads in and takes stupid videos of himself mocking mentally disabled kids. Peop...

and would remove any doubt about him being the best ever. Bold :) No it wouldn't, not with any degree of certainty. It might show that Hamilton and his advisers judiciously chose teams that comfortably had the best car at the time, were likely to have it soon or were just the beneficiaries of some ...

Re: Little things in life that make you smile

I've been in Manchester most of the day - freezing sheets of icy rain - but as well as the pleasure in seeing my youngest getting his masters , he introduced me to Porky Pig's Yorkshire Pudding Wrap :D A roast dinner that's been kebabed/calzone'd inside a giant Yorkshire. Genius. Sounds awes...

Re: The Mental Health Thread - (Help Contacts in First Post).

Whitey, your problems are just as important as anyonelse's. You are in a far better position than I to judge wether work place attitudes to mental health are improving or not, and I appreciate that it isn't easy when you progress to a certain level, just to jump ship, but one of the (very few) valu...

Re: Ever shat your pants as a fully grown man?

I knocked on someone's front door to ask if I could use their toilet for a **** when out running once Dover Running I find is a tremendous natural laxative at anything over 5 miles Was told the answer was no. So had a **** in the alley next to his house. Fair play to him, I would have said no too bu...

Re: Bbc spoty

I suppose the only thing you can say is that the car makes up a large part of the equation but **** it , the world's biggest ****er, Nigel Mansell, would have been made PM by now if he'd won it 6 times.

Re: Little things that irritate you

There is this one guy I'm connected with , does the same job as me. He talks about his content and himself in the third person . I ****ing hate him and I know that is too harsh an emotion to feel about this but I really ****ing do. I've met him once briefly at an industry dinner and he seemed ok but...

As this thread illustrates though, there are many dealing with worse things than me though and often amazed at the strength displayed 👍

Re: The Mental Health Thread - (Help Contacts in First Post).

Cheers Richie. Work have been really good. I've been signed off for the last week or so, and they've pretty much said I can forget any deadlines etc for the foreseeable. That's good news Ron, must be a relief that they aren't being cocks about it, I do think that attitude is sadly quite rare still....

Lewis second, stokes wins (amazing how quick we are to forgive a white guy) yes he was amazing, but you have to think someone else would not be forgiven. Mo Farah has a knighthood. Black if i remember correctly And not even British. Oh he has won this award too. Agree though, I can't really see why...

Re: Ever shat your pants as a fully grown man?

Reminds me of an old Clement Freud anecdote..................A man who is very drunk on a train throws up all over his suit. "What am I going to say to my wife?" he slurs to the man sitting opposite. The man sitting opposite advises him to tell his wife that another man threw up all over you on the...
