Re: Little things in life that make you smile

Got the missus some roses for valentines day (yeah I know it's b*llocks but she likes all that). Bought the flowers and was walking back to the car park via Maidstone high street. Some of the comments ... From blokes "look at that **** with the roses, what a ****ing saddo". From the birds "ahhh ... ...

Too sour. Stick to Liefmans.
I actually prefer the sour kriek beers. The Leifman's kriek is brewed differently to other kriek beers, as they just add cherries to Oud Brun beer and let it age for a year. It's not bad but I think the Oud Beersel's tastes more natural.

It's political between Hereford and Wales. The place broke away from Wales and built the walls around the city to keep the GERMANS out. They still exist in bits.

Fruity beer don't do it for one little bit.
You should try a cherry lambic (kriek beer). They're really nice and not too sweet at all. Aud Beersel's Aude Kriek is probably the best cherry lambic out there.

Pie in the sky I know, but if a new purpose-built stadium was to be built, where would it's location be? I can't really think of anywhere in the vicinity that would be suitable.

Re: The Crazy Life of Ian Bishop

Watched a QPR away game years ago and Bish tore them apart in midfield. He just bossed the midfield and set up at least one goal as far as I can remember. Great player. Criminal he didn’t get a senior England cap.

Contested it.

Council agreed that it's NOT a communal area and that its a public footpath so have waived the charge. :scarfer:
Bravo.

You can guarantee they'll be doing it for a lot less now the onus is on them.

Re: Call the Heddlu !

What took you to Hereford v Cardiff? Edgar Street was an old stomping ground of mine in my late teens as I was based down there. Used to love it on the Meadow End. My mate said that Shrewsbury and Hereford were two really lively away games in England for them and I should really go. Christ on a bik...

Re: Trial seperation

I'm well over it now. I'll never go to the souless bowl ever again. I'll watch the games on a stream or on TV but as for going, no way Pedro. There's a really decent little club near the Lord Stanley that my mate has told me about and I think a couple of people on here have been too that's really ch...

Re: Protests against the board being planned

Not sure where to post this message to be honest... but here goes for here. I knew david golds mum, my nan was her best friend and they used to go bingo with her until she sadly passed away. David, and ralph treated her abysmally. She lived in a tiny little flat in east ham and they paid for a full...

There’s never trouble with Wales but Cardiff v Swansea v Newport v North used to happen.
I've been to Cardiff v Swansea and Cardiff v Wrexham and even Hereford v Cardiff back in the early 90s. Was like going back to the 70s as far as football violence goes. Mental scenes.

Re: The Board - Does Anybody Like 'em?

I have a couple of friends who don't think the board have done a bad job and that the reaction to anyone wanting them out is quite ridiculous. They have had season tickets for 30 years and that relegation is part and parcel of our club.... I would love for them to post on here and state their reaso...

Re: Protests against the board being planned

It did strike me as a bit weird Tone saying these things, especially as he's good mates with Phil Parkes who's made his disapproval of the board well known and been chastised by the board for saying so.

Re: Protests against the board being planned

The press are coming out in unison in their condemnation of their handling of the club, but why has it taken them 10 years for this to come to a head ? That's an easy one. Once one of their own was attacked and the media forced to apologise, the writing was on the wall for them. They struck back in...

Re: The Board - Does Anybody Like 'em?

Does 'doing an ok job' amount to much, though, when it comes to football? I dunno really. Playing devil's advocate here but if they'd not have made all them promises and not moved us, would anybody have the hump with the board? Alan Curbishley, after all, did 'an ok job' and his time is remembered ...

Re: The Board - Does Anybody Like 'em?

It might seem like I'm trolling here but genuinely I'm not. There must be some on here - do these people exist? Regardless of Gold's "cab driver" :arry: I'd say there must be some that think they're doing an OK job. I'd be really interested to hear their reasoning.

Re: Possible Takeover Bid ?

But whose fault was that GCRO? Squarely on the board that Moyes didn’t have the coaches he wanted / needed, in terms of numbers and /or personnel. Oh agree 100%. Not trying to stick up for the board in any way, just saying that they must have thought Nolan would be a nodding dog and not complain ab...

As my son, Cameron, isn’t on this site, I’ve shown him all the replies and he appreciates everyone who’s supporting him. He has appealed the ban and will hopefully hear something by Wednesday. He’s already had his Manchester City and Liverpool tickets cancelled. Respect mate. We're all 100% behind ...

Owners facing rising unrest among supporters and press showing an interest. Suddenly there’s a takeover in the offing and a former fan favourite returns as a coach. Call me a cynical old b*llocks but ...... To be fair, Moyes had hardly any backroom staff of his choice as the board decided Stuart Pe...

The Board - Does Anybody Like 'em?

Serious post. If you're a fan of the board, please post in this thread giving your reasons why. I'm genuinely interested in hearing anybody who's pro-board and what their arguments are. There must be someone on here who thinks they're getting a hard time unjustly.
