Re: Who Next? The odds

Someone who will try 3 at the back with wing-backs. Personal preference is Moyes but Kovac, Poch and Emery have played this system in the past. Our Full-Backs are no where near good enough to play in a Flat Back 4, but Fredericks and Arthur can excel @ wing-back! Someone who will work the players to...

Should have bought Ings
We'd have been wasting our time. Danny Ings has supported Southampton all his life. Only a Champions League team had any chance of stopping him choose his boyhood club.

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

So David Moyes is responsible for selling players now? He wasted £8m on a striker who’s never played. A couple of wins in dead rubber matches put a shin on his record. If he got excellent performances out of all those players why did his team lose so many games? People have very selective memories ...

Pellegrini: “Winston Reid is playing and working without any problems” - does this mean he's actually match fit and available for selection?

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

If we bring in a striker to partner Haller, he needs to cover a lot of ground, do a lot of running, and pretty much do a similar job to Antonio. Shame we didn't buy Rondon. Jarrod Bowen, Hull City. Impressive goalscoring for past 2 seasons, and this season on fire! 14 goals & 4 assists in 21. Age 2...

Ajeti isn't like Perez as he hasn't shown that he can finish yet.
Did you read the part where I said "but without the goals"? :?

It was obvious that Perez could finish but it was also obvious that he contributed **** all else to the team.
So Haller and Ajeti are just like Perez then… but without the goals (and about £50m more expensive)

Re: Lucas Pérez

Lucas Perez - 2nd best striker in Europe (sold for £2m, while we spent £45m on Haller and £8m on Ajeti)..
.. Pelle really does know how to get the best out of his players.

We've had so many poor LBs, I preferred to play Faye out of position! Couldn't quite find a place for Yossi Benayoun.

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

Easy training sessions, no hard running and no danger of being shouted at when we lose. This was the main loss when Moyes/Pearce were let go. Before they arrived the player's fitness levels were appalling, and there's no doubt Moyes addressed that. Moyes wasn't given any money ( except £8m on Hugil...

WIFC - You can’t always get in via the pudding mill lane entrance, for reasons unknown. As was the case yesterday, no one was let through... ridiculous

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

You can't have looked very closely at Gerrard. The only teams that he can beat are those that spend less than 20% on players and salaries. You know for fact that Porto, Young Boys, Feyenoord all spend less than 20% of Rangers' budget?! Really?? Source? Last time I checked Rangers are top of...

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

I am listening to Talksport!! Just to add to my misery from last night. They are currently talking to Ian Abrahams. He said the board are split and when pressed on who on the board are split, he said it was Gold and Sullivan, one wants a change and one wants to wait and see. He then said "his sourc...

The one next to the club shop is horrendous, I was waiting for 25 minutes yesterday to get through which meant missing 5 minutes of the game when it could have been a lot quicker. There are 2 by the Club Shop, not one: 1. (Nearest the club shop entrance) A long walk from Stratford station, always h...

Niko Kovac - has worked with Haller before and is out of work currently. Also plays 3-5-2 which I think our squad is made for currently.
Will apparently be attending the match tonight..
