Re: Sheffield United v West Ham United: Match Thread

I'm happy with the performance for where we are at the minute. That would have been 3-0 under Pellers. Barring the Martin **** up, we looked fairly solid. We also had some great chances. All this while we were effectively 2 players down in Noble and Lanzini. We lost the game because Lanzini, Anderso...

Re: Mark Noble - West Ham Legend

He was absolutely ***** tonight. He could not compete at all. We can not get away with him in midfield anymore. Hopefully that will be an eye opener for people that he got the run around by 3 middle of the road, bang average midfielders. I think this also shows we don't have to go out and spend £50m...

Re: Sheffield United v West Ham United: Match Thread

That’s a back 5 We are quite literally back to where we were 2 years ago I’d be amazed if we score a goal tonight we’ve shown we are there to be bullied and this Sheffield United side is one of the most physical sides the premier league has seen in recent years I don't think he has a choice. We are...

Re: Sheffield United v West Ham United: Match Thread

I'm a fan of 3 at the back, but baffled by Lanzini. Seems the type of game he'll get bullied and be on the floor half the time. Think we could have done with Diop in there as well.

We'll see.

We need a proper back up keeper, a striker and a center midfielder
Snodgrass is 32. If we can get Fraser in on a free as a replacement, I'd be more than happy.

A truly perfect start

More of the same please - beyond the effort and performance - the bloke connecting with players at the end and during substitutions was a serious breath of fresh air
This.

I didn't realise how many of the basics Pellegrini wasn't doing.

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

Superb performance and great to see that he spotted straight away that Anderson needs to play higher up the pitch. All this sitting deep on the left was driving me mad under Pellers. I thought Anderson was excellent, him and Fornals never gave them a second on the ball. Top work. It was nice to see ...

Hopefully Moyes is in Fraser's ear sounding out a move. That would be a great signing for us on a free.

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

Love how West Ham fans want the absolute finished article in a player. We would be lucky to get Morales, sure he has higher aspirations than relegation battles and short cup runs though..oh wait he is already playing in Europe so would have to throw a lot of money at him to downgrade. He's absolute...

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

Just heard his first interview and he is saying all the right things and he's exactly what this group of players need. They are all far too casual and will take the piss given half a chance. It's a boring appointment, but I've just seen he was at the training ground about 7 this morning and I can im...

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

Saw Phil Jones mentioned upthread. He'd actually be worse than what we've got. I'm just not sure he totally understands what game he's supposed to be playing. Not adverse to Matic in the circumstances. Tidy player that gets on and does a job. Matic would be a disaster. More slow, over the hill play...

Exactly why he shouldn't be appointed. It's never going to work when over half the ground are already gutted he's been appointed.

Daniel Farke would be an interesting option - would like to see what he would do with our attackers.
Unfortunately, we need someone who can attempt to so something with our defenders. We've conceded 2 or more 12 times this year. 6 of those have been 3 or more.

Manuel Pellegrini (Now Sacked)West Ham United’s 17th manager

Would a new manager have the desired effect on these players and get them playing properly again, or have most of them just given up playing for the badge completely? I want to see a manager try 3-5-2. I think we have the players to do it. Rice holding, Fornals pulling the strings and Haller up top...

Come back in the XI, all is forgiven.
Sanchez did nothing today that Noble hasn't done over the past few weeks. The whole argument with Ogbonna started with Noble giving the ball away with a lazy pass.

They both need to be replaced.

Re: ⚽ West Ham United v Leicester City: Match thread (28/12)

Absolute toilet. Whats happened to Diop and Lanzini ? Shocking. Taking Haller off to play Antonio up front on his jack and then bring Ajeti on to play alongside Antonio. WTF ? Only positive and I'm grasping was the return of Fabs and Fornals looking like a decent buy. No fight, no passion. Normally...
