Re: ⚽ West Ham United v Leicester City: Match thread (28/12)

Got to go tonight and we have to give a new manager January to bring his own players in. As soon as Anderson went to the right he created a goal. So he played the whole second half on the left. To have Sanchez starting midfield, with Tim ****ing Sherwood saying he's garbage is too much. Over £160m s...

Fresh for what? We're losing at home to a Reserve team and he's thinking about our next one? :D.

To think he'll be in charge against Bournemouth is a joke.
Actually, I thought he played 90 on Thursday but it was 75mins on Thursday and 54 mins today. No excuse for that.

Re: ⚽ West Ham United v Leicester City: Match thread (28/12)

He's a clueless ****ing idiot and it's **** like this which you can't even pin on our equally **** owners. To think he'll get yet another game against Bournemouth. All as bad as each other. A clown being kept on the payroll by cheapskates. I can only think he's trying to keep him fresh and not risk...

That Haller substitution was like he was trying to get sacked.

Re: ⚽ West Ham United v Leicester City: Match thread (28/12)

Lanzin hasn’t been in the game much, and Diop, Sanchez and Masuaku have been dodgy defending and Sanchez passing has been suicidal at times, but we look alright going forward. Masuaku has been good going forward, Anderson looks like his best self, Haller has done a decent job linking up play and ha...

Re: ⚽ West Ham United v Leicester City: Match thread (28/12)

He'll need another three or four stone for that ;) Ha true. But in all seriousness, his passing isn't the best and Fredericks can't cross for ****, so maybe it's time to try him on the right. He stays so deep on the left and jogs around trying to be the playmaker, but his passing is garbage. Just s...

Re: ⚽ West Ham United v Leicester City: Match thread (28/12)

I prefer Anderson on the right. He needs to be told his main asset is pace. All this staying deep and trying to nutmeg players isn't for me. He needs to do what Traore does for Wolves. I also prefer Fornals central.

Re: ⚽ West Ham United v Leicester City: Match thread (28/12)

I was just typing "Is Anderson allergic to sprinting" and suddenly opens up and beats a man. We'll happy for Fornals. Lovely little player.

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

I'd take a look at Baptiste at Oxford. It's a few levels below, but he ran rings round us in the cup and has looked good every time I've seen him. Scored a rocket this weekend and is only 21.

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

The board may well be to blame for the bigger picture but this is the Pellegrini thread. He's not getting the best out of a decent squad. They don't look decent right now but that's the point. Everton were used as a comparison I'd like to use Southampton. They have a pretty useless board (yes I kno...

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

If the board is at fault here for underspending, why are Everton only 3 point ahead of us? They've spent nearly half a billion in 3/4 years. The problem is the managers and poor signings. Everton had it with Koeman and Steve Walsh, both sacked. Allardyce got the same treatment as here, just boring, ...

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

You can say the board haven't invested, but Yarmolenko, Anderson, Ajeti, Wilshere, Sanchez and Diop were all on the bench or left out yesterday. That's the best part of £100m that Pellers has spent and isn't using. Even in the game he subbed his 2 main signings of the summer. That's over £160m worth...

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

To be fair to the board, we had a relegation and they appointed probably the best manager at the time to get us out of it. He played certain style and the fans, including me, didn't like it. We got Bilic and had Payet for a season and half and nearly got Champions League. We got into Europe and then...

Re: Mark Noble - West Ham Legend

Interesting that in this decade only 3 outfield players have played more PL games than the skipper, and not one of those three had a season in the Championship. Had we not enjoyed a season down there it's highly likely Mark Noble would have played more PL games than any other outfield player. I'm s...

I briefly considered Moyes as a good option before and then remembered the Hugill transfer, shuddered and went and sat in a dark room.

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

No way they'd go for Sam again. No way...please no way...please.

Couldn't take anymore of the post match interviews where we had 1 chance and the opposition had 10 chances, but we should have taken our chance and won the game.

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

I posted the following on August 25th. It was early doors, but the signs were there then. Referring to the chances conceded in the first 3 games:- Of course it's skewed, I said that initially, but I've also watched each game and those stats represent exactly what I've seen. Brighton should have scor...

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

 All of this "It'll be okay when Fab and Antonio are back" is a load of old rot. This team is dire and that's before you get to the bench where you have a £45m striker who hasn't broken a sweat for 3 months on the pitch and a £22m 6 foot 4 CB who can't head the ball to save his life. The warn...

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

I'm not having this thing that our squad is top 10 material. Last night we had David Martin in goal. A bang average right back, a £4m centre half partnered with a lad we all assumed wouldn't be first choice now. Cresswell should have been properly replaced last year. Then midfield we have Snodgrass ...

Re: ⚽ West Ham United v Arsenal :Match thread (9/12)

Caught on his heels again as the runner goes past him and sticks one in unmarked. He seemed to try and pin it on Balbuena for not reacting and coming out to close him down but it was his man. The lad looked shattered and he's 20. Where's the captain in all this? That's how bad it's come to that nob...
