I can't believe that two experienced World Class strikers won't get at least one goal against our two rookies - Repka will give them at least one chance, and that's all those two need. It's all down to whether we can get in amongst their shi*e defence and score more. I think it will be a lot tighter...

We are going to have to be very strong. I think that other teams are starting to fancy playing us away from Upton Park. There is a sense that we aren't tough enough physically and perhaps even mentally to battle it out when it's cold and wet and up north. I'd like to see Collins in at the back and D...

I don't want to get all optimistic but bear in mind that the Robvers defence let in 3 against us in one half already this season and by the look of the two they gave away last weekend they haven't got any better:

and Todd is out suspended...

I'm worried because if you look at sort of similar away opposition this year (Man City and Sunderland) we looked poor. I'm optimistic because we've looked a lot better at hanging in there even when not playing brilliantly (Liverpool, Sunderland) and we've got enough players to nick a goal. 1-1 I rec...

It's about time we got a Bolton-style result like this - time was when WHU would've given up - we were being outpassed and outclassed by Sp**rs for periods but we kept steaming back in and moving forwards. When was the last time we nicked a point with a last-minute set-piece?? We still look 2-3 play...

Just got back - very enjoyable game tho not a classic as both teams worked too hard - what impressed me was the way that when the Arsen threatened to get on top of us or when some refereeing decisions went against us or when we missed a couple of chances in a row we didn't lose concentration. Carrol...

My Gooner friend reckons it'll be tight - he reckons Ljundberg is on fire as is Reyes and of course Hleb. There will plenty to keep our back four occupied I suspect...
still think we can edge it 2-1.

I can't see us not scoring - got to be Teddy? - and i can't see them not scoring (set-piece) - so 1-1 for sure - I dream of us nicking it 2-1 as they push forward for the points - the nightmare is that they beat us 4-1 as we push forward to win and collapse as they counter-attack later on.

Just got back - really pleased - first 20 was like Villa - quite even - Malbranque was passing through us quite a bit an dthey had some neat triangles that left Tomas and Konch exposed a few times but Roy looked unbeatable and Danny and Anton were outstanding - by half-time we were more than even an...

It was a great game - and real West Ham style - fast and full of flair - but I have to say that I thought Villa were v poor - predictable, sluggish and lacking any guile. Even so there were a few hairy moments - a couple of bad bits of distribution from Danny and Roy lost a couple of crosses complet...

we have legends in the making - Yossi was fantastic - he even tackles - NRC was immmense once he got going - and when Marlon corrects his gunsights he's going to get a hatful - and well done Mullins - I thought he kept us in it for long stretches - and Anton looked England class - Blackburn were big...

BELLAMY IN LINE FOR DEBUT Craig Bellamy looks set to win his fight to be fit in time for Blackburn's Barclays Premiership opener against West Ham at Upton Park tomorrow. Bellamy, 26, has missed much of his new club's pre-season with an ankle injury but has responded well to treatment this week and w...
