Re: Everton vs West Ham United Match Thread
Nearly every OV they say that we aren't all that and they should be beating us. Yet that is nearly always by teams below us and here we are, 6th with them below us, still in Europe and hopefully in it again next season. Somehow i don't think it was luck every time that we have won...

Re: ✍️ Welcome Lucas Paquetá - Our Brazilian Magnifico
We are obviously better with him but it does have to be said that he didn’t have a great game v everton and was respinsible for a terrible pass that led to the everton goal.

Re: ✍ Welcome Maxwel Cornet
When i look at someone like him, it does make me very negative about new signings. The guy isn't rubbish, did ok when he came on and most players benefit from a run of games, they can't all be top notch when hardly playing. I just think Moyes should have at least tried to use him more. It was eviden...

Re: Everton vs West Ham United Match Thread
Unfortunately i can foresee our players and moyes not giving 100% because they will be looking at thursday.
Saying that, it would be nice to get back to a dull 1-0 tommy soucek goal league win to give some momentum to the brentford win.

😆 To be fair Jonathan Spector wasn't a very good Jonathan Spector either. Brilliantly put though. Jonathan Spector. 😆 Crazy Days. Re: ✍ Welcome Tomas Soucek
On another day he'd have scored a couple. it just wasn't his day, but then at least he was in the position to score. I don't think anyone can particularly dig him out attacking or defensively. I thought generally he did alright. Problem is people get like a dog with a bone about some players on here...

Re: West Ham United v Brentford : match thread
We do need to keep this celebration in check. Brentford were without a few players and they could easily have been 2-2 on another day.
Plus Areola had to make a few saves. And they have lost 10 since the start of December.

Re: West Ham United v Brentford : match thread
still far from perfect but there was a lot less terrible passing than the last few matches. Some short balls or interceptions and plenty of hoofing from in particular, Zouma, but then he did make quite a few necessary challenges. But what a difference it makes to attack from the start instead of was...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!
I take it we are all resigned to Moyes staying until the end of the season then? If so, i know its difficult, but i guess we need to try and get behind the team and hope somehow we can find some form despite the set up. We have two incentives, win the europa League and finish as high as we can up th...

Re: To Clap The Players Or Not, That Is The Question
Numbskulls used to clap every time Dicks stomped off after almost breaking someone's leg. I don't think it was the fact that he might damage the opposition player, it was the fact he was leading the team by getting stuck in. And i saw him turn around matches for us probably more than any other west...

Re: To Clap The Players Or Not, That Is The Question
I think there have been times when i have been completely pissed off with the team, particularly cup matches , when you get the feeling that they have been told we have other priorities and it is evident on the pitch that there is a lack of effort or interest. I would apply that to our cup exits thi...

It would be interesting to find out from Birmingham fans if our current status of few and old players is where they were before Sullivan sold them.
