Re: Little things that irritate you

The people who work at the same Hospital as me who leave used toilet paper on the floor of the staff toilets, rather than flushing it :thdn: Apparently, it is the foreign Nurses/Doctors, because they don't flush toilet paper back home or something. The mind boggles. *edit* Also, best of luck, Tenner...

Re: England Cricket Summer 2019 ODI World Cup and Ashes

A bit left-field, and I know it is a different format, but Roy and Bairstow were great as openers during the World Cup. Should have tried them opening together vs Ireland. Either way, I would go with the following lineup for Edgbaston. Roy Burns Root Bairstow Stokes Buttler Woakes Ali Curran Archer ...

^ You don't win friends with Salad. Evening meal for me was a Baguette from Tesco, with an Aldi combo of their Topside sliced Beef, Horseradish, Lettuce and Tomato. I love Aldi stuff. I was a bit of a snob about the place until I first went there this time last year. Their Pate's and Cheeses are out...

Re: The gay footballer (non WHU)

Everyone has the right to love who they want to love. Including professional sports people. It wouldn't make an iota of difference to me if a footballer came out; I don't racially abuse opposition players, nor would I shout homophobic abuse, either. Sadly, I think some sections of society would poun...

I know it is no concern to us, but why exactly are Arsenal reportedly so skint this transfer window?

They’ve been brilliant today.
So frustrating to watch, aint they! If they do qualify for the Semi's, I'd back the buggers to go on and win it!

Horsefly bites. Thanks to the local Council not cutting the grass in our local park for nearly 2 months, parts of it are like a scene from Jurassic Park. Woke up this morning with a load of Horsefly bites on my legs from having taken the Dogs for a walk in the park and losing a tennis ball of their ...

The difference we make to Rescue Dogs.
Our Papillon, Pickle, has changed so much from the absolute bag of quivering nerves he was when we got him as a 1 year old. Now, nearly 10, he is the most chilled out, confident, happy and loyal pooch you could ever meet.

Squeaky Bum time. Not sure we are going to make the Semi's now - India will batter us and New Zealand are no mugs. Australia is a toss up.

Had to drop off some paperwork in preparation for starting my new job first thing this morning, so held off on Breakfast until afterwards. Went to a cafe and had a Sausage, Egg & Beans Bap and a lovely big Cuppa. Made a mess all over my shirt, but don't care :D

Re: Bilic back to work...

Best of luck Slav. Gave us a great, memorable season. Despite the board interference, lack of control over signings and cluster **** of a stadium move we still managed to finish mid table (And above par) with a side with a squad inferior to the year before. Did as well as anyone could given the con...

A spider the size of an octopus suddenly running across my living room floor. June 7th, that shouldn't be happening. Got some absolute monsters living in the old pre-fab Garage at the moment. One of which has made a titanic web over my shelf of Warhammer stuff. Heresy. I'm not as afraid of them as ...
