Re: The 2016 summer transfer thread -Deadline Day

It royaly pisses me off that clubs even bother to deal with sp*rs. Buying under value and never fail to sell way above value. Credit to them, but what kind of nutter would pay £13+ million for Ryan ****ing Mason https://www.dokuwiki.org/lib/images/smileys/icon_lol.gif And Chadli, Bentaleb etc, these...

Lanzini will probably feature quite a bit in a deeper role imo a la Modric/Cazorla

Re: The 2016 summer transfer thread -Deadline Day

I wish we'd gone for Pereyra from Juve, but oh well..

Hope we get Arbeloa signed and if we're able to shift sulkho and Valencia with a replacement would be the dream

A sulky one? :P

Not crazy about Berahino tbh, would much rather Defoe, even with the large age gap!

Re: The 2016 summer transfer thread -Deadline Day

Never been a fan of Arbeloa, and sure he is a dirty fekker, but it's exactly what we need. We are so cute and naive defensively and it's been especially evident in our european ties last two years. I called for an ageing italian right back, but a spanish one will do. We need the experience, and cons...

Re: The 2016 summer transfer thread

You could always try joining in discussing footballing matters properly, Bergen, instead of pointlessly digging me out over one word. We already know many others want words to be starred out because they cause some offence, why not add yet another one.. Mate, was meant as friendly banter :) Sorry i...

Re: The 2016 summer transfer thread

I know there is no chance, but Zabaleta would be perfect for us. Surely there are solid experienced right backs out there somewhere? A player on the older side, shorter contracts, bags of experience, defensively rock solid. It's not the flavour of the month, but it's what we desperately need. Should...

Re: Manchester City vs West Ham Utd : match thread

He's wanted to send of Masuaku all game. Every tackle, every little foul has been given a warning. No where near two yellows imo.

We'll get the equalizer and then Aguero will do a Costa and score right before the whistle when we should be playing ten men, yet again...it's the way these ****ers work

Re: Manchester City vs West Ham Utd : match thread

5/6 in this thread include a dig at Valencia. I wouldn't mind, today is one of the games he hasn't even been too bad. No need to use him and him only as a ****ing scapegoat. Once again, been worse performances from other players today. Well, my man. Since you went thru my posts on this very thread ...

Re: Manchester City vs West Ham Utd : match thread

These new rules are absolutely pathetic, and it will kill off a lot of the intesity that makes the PL so popular eventually, and in my book already has. The players looks nervous to attempt a tackle and basicly everything is a yellow. And how are booking a captain that tries to reason with you the a...

Re: Manchester City vs West Ham Utd : match thread

Valencia works hard, but he always do. Doesn't really matter when he can't win a 50/50 for his life and get shrugged off the ball or wastes the possesssion whenever he has it. I'd take him off and never play him again. We have been shocking but defending against this lot needs to start from the fron...

Re: The 2016 summer transfer thread

We need a defensive fullback who are comfortable on either side. We worked extremely well with Tomkins at right back last season, gave us a good balance while Cresswell was bombing forward. The way I see football, and the way I'd set up a team, I would have an overlapping fullback with a inverted wi...

Re: West Ham Utd vs Astra Giurgiu match thread

Chill, it's not the end of the world. Agree with Puff that we are incredible naive at this level, doesn't help that we have been forced to field a reduced side either. Kids upfront, and the power house of Enner Valencia. That we lack any form of creativity without Lanzini and/or Payet was no secret ...
