Re: Formula1 2019

I never looked into Albons background but yeah its a bit of a :thdn: The Hamilton Verstappen battle was good fun, and Hamilton really did chuck everything at him on a track that is notoriously hard to overtake on, but what he did in that race with regards to pushing Verstappen and closing that 6 sec...

Re: New Rule Changes

Anyone about to be substituted will more than likely be found in the center circle now then.

Re: Formula1 2019

I don't think the driver should be penalised for an unsafe release as they are entirely at the mercy of the team, but a team points penalty will have more effect than money. They have so much money that they will probably do this every time it is advantageous now the precedent has been set. Thats t...

Re: Formula1 2019

The FIA really dont do themselves favours though do they. Leclerc was not given no penalty for his unsafe release in the pits yet was quite clearly a dangerous release which Gosjean basically did have to stop his car then trudle into his pit box - at the time i thought they didnt peanalise him as he...

Re: Arthur Masuaku

Well thats a surprise. He has ability going forward, i guess if we can sort the midfield out to they cover pur full backs better then their job is to bomb forward which is becoming the norm. Also perhaps isn't costing an arm and a leg in wages so will fill the hole until we have filled other problem...

Re: Pedro Obiang

There was a point where Obiang was excellent and i think maybe got injured and then he never recaptured that form. Recent memory of his performances were average. No major loss and easily replaceable but a likeable guy and hope he does well out there. Always be remembered for that thunderbolt agains...

Re: The summer transfer window 2019 thread

I am not littered with stats or going to trawl through a database, but over the past however many years we have certainly had more than our fair share of training ground injuries - but again this could be related to the recruitment policy of signing players who have an injury history. Once we reduce...

Re: The summer transfer window 2019 thread

We just have to keep players fit now. Which we hear every single season, and we know how that turns out. There has to be an underlying issue with the training ground and obviously doesn't help we recruit players who have an injury history. If we can root out our injury issues we would have a much b...

Re: Formula1 2019

I really don’t get this whole Max would beat him in an equal car. I mean no one can prove it but Hamilton is in a class of his own in all conditions, manages tyres extremely well and hardly ever makes any error. Sure Max certainly looks like he has something about him but he’s still far too immature...

Not really sure what our game plan is. Pre season and all. All about fitness but we just don’t look at the races at all.

Re: West Ham United v Manchester City: Asia Trophy Match Thread

You have to look at Sanchez as one of our worst signings for a long time. Yes hes getting over his long lay off but he is still doing the same stuff he did pre injury. He is far too casual on the ball without the skill or nous to know where an opposition player is - he constantly gets caught in poss...

Re: West Ham United v Manchester City: Asia Trophy Match Thread

Can see that we have a game plan and not running around like loonys - probably best in this heat.

Whereas alot of players who dont usually start for Man City trying to make a point so no surprise they chasing and keeping the ball more.

Either way we going to win the league if we win this

Re: The summer transfer window 2019 thread

Money has gone up. Fees have gone up.

Possibly they had no need to sell either and he was on modest wages?

Could have been a simple well we dont really need to sell but for £10m if you want him you can have him.

Re: The summer transfer window 2019 thread

WHo is going to pay £10m for Chicarito and pay the wages he is on here?

We'd be lucky to get half that and we wouldn't get a good enough replacement in. Keep him.
