Re: West Ham Utd vs Manchester Utd: Match Thread

I started reading the last few pages and just gave up. Forget giving up a 2 0 lead. We were battered. We can not cope with pace. We have seen the same all season against the like of Citeh and Arsenal. We are teared a new ****hole whenever teams attack us with speed. Negatives - See above, and the fa...

Re: New season ticket waiting list ? Alarm Bells ringing .

Great a postcard that will be left hanging out the letterbox informing any criminal that, as a season ticket holder, I will be out of my house during home games, and letting any milkman know when my wife will be alone.

Re: The FSF are non biased...

GPH, I'm playing devil's advocate here but: Why should you be allowed a beer in the stands? Why should you be treated with respect by the police when the feeling is not mutual? Most football fans are utter moron c***s. For this reason alone these precautions must stay in place. It's not much to ask...

Re: The FSF are non biased...

Issues facing Football Fans. Safe terraces at all football grounds To be treated decently To be given respect from the Police To be treated like an adult in the stadium and allowed to have a beer whilst watching the game. So I ask, what have the FSF ever done for us? (I know the Life of Brian nature...

Re: As it's quiet - a player poll (part deux)

If I had been a member in 2007, I would have said that Parker will come good, be HOTY two years running, play for England, and cause us worry everytime the transfer window opened....honest. To actually be honest, I remember talking to a Chelsea fan when Parker was injured in his first season. I did ...

Re: West Ham United vs Man Utd: Match Thread

I hate to say it, but I feared an Arsenal on form, (as proven), or a Man City running riot, (as proven). However, I don't fear Utd. We will get at least a draw from this game. 2-1 West Ham

Re: Wellcome trust bid to buy Olympic Park & Stadium

Looks like someone is trying to buy the OS after we just got it, that doesn't make sense to me. They are just wanting to buy the freehold. West Ham have the leasehold to the stadium, but do not own the land. It is like someone buying the freehold to a block of flats, it does not impact an individua...

Re: The Olympic Stadium [new poll]

I do not want this to be seen as an anti-post, I just did not think this warranted a new thread. For various reasons, I have not travelled away as much as I did a few years ago, and the away trip to Stoke was the first for a while. It just reminded me how horrible and soulless most new stadiums are,...

Re: The Os..and their legal standing.

Hearn hinted that one way out of this potential impasse could be compensation. "What is the way forward? "Is it a compensation issue? "Or should we be part of the Olympic Park itself rather than be the forgotten tribe of East London? "We are open to suggestions but we can't get the dialogue started...

Let's get a decent team in football first before selling what's left of our name to thx highest bidders You should know I was one of the most vociferous anti-move posters. I am just trying to find positives. Please do not twist my words to make it look like I was urging the club to sell the brand n...
