Re: West Ham Utd v Brighton and Hove Albion match thread

If I were complaining about VAR not calling off a goal it would be the 1st. That seems a clear grab of the keeper's arm. A corner for us in the first half, Haller starts his run on the edge of the 18 yard box and I'm sure the defender holds on to him all the way in to the six yard box Did anyone el...

Re: West Ham Utd v Brighton and Hove Albion match thread

For me VAR got it right. I was hoping that they would still go with the refs call but alas it wasn't to be.

Re: Things you've always wanted to know......

Are coffins air tight? When we are six feet under, will worms and other beasties be crawling through our eye sockets, or will everything be kept out?

How long does it take for a typical coffin to rot underground?

There is going to be a lot of pressure, hope and expectation on this guy. I really hope he comes through for us.

Re: Snodaldinho

If that prick Haller put in Snoddy’s effort levels we would be safe right now. 9 goals/assists in 15 starts...... That's what should be expected from £25m-£45m players. If Anderson, Lanzini and Fornals all had similar stats then we would be sitting pretty. I don't understand why Snodgrass gets as m...

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

Taking off Antonio isn't the issue. Replacing him with Masuaku, sitting back and letting Brighton walk straight through us, is.

How bad was Lanzini when he came on?
I don't remember either him or Fornals touching the ball. After we scored our third the whole team lost the ability to pass the ball.

Re: West Ham Utd v Brighton and Hove Albion match thread

The Antonio for Arthur was a perfectly reasonable substitution. Antonio was tiring, we are truly ****ed if he picks up an injury, we were 3 - 1 up and in theory you're replacing a more attacking player with a more defensive player to shore up the left. Unfortunately Arthur is actually terrible defe...

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

I understand taking off Antonio but why the f*ck did he bring on Masuaku? It should have been another attacking midfielder and we might have kept the momentum going.

Re: West Ham Utd v Brighton and Hove Albion match thread

Much better going forward for the first 57 minutes. Antonio was the best player on the pitch. Brighton won't be gifted three easier goals than that for a very long time. Defensively we were atrocious. As soon as we got to 3-1, we sat back and invited them on to us. Our passing was terrible and Brigh...

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

Absolutely. He was as good as Adrian. He was certainly better than Joe Hart!! As others have said, he was a great backup keeper which is why he will be this time too. Sounds like you’ve just got a problem with him... I have no problem with Randolph whatsoever. In isolation I have no problem with us...

Why do people keep posting this? He left because Sullivan brought Hart in and it was obvious one of either Adrian or Randolph would leave to get first team football...
Do you believe that Randolph was good enough for us in 2017?

I don't get why people are unhappy with Randolph. We literally have one of the best if not the best back up keeper in the Premier League.
We sold him in 2017 because he wasn't good enough. We only signed him again because Middlesbrough owed us money.

They were on deadline day, but early in the day.
