Re: Mark Noble - West Ham Legend

Do you expect him to turn around and say to the fans, I know how you feel, they're a bunch of *****

Of course he tows the line, he's the club captain, he has no choice.

Re: Sheffield United v West Ham United: Match Thread

Battling doesn’t win games if you can’t string passes together or only ever have 1 option when you look up. Only chances we had were their silly mistakes. Let’s not pretend they are Barcelona, it’s a team we could & should be taking points off. Barcelona they are most definitely not but they are 5t...

Re: Sheffield United v West Ham United: Match Thread

Which part of the performance was decent? We were the better team in the first half, even their manager conceded that. We controlled much of that first half and denied them possession. Anderson should have scored when one on one with their keeper but alas he didn't. Could easily have been 1 up at h...

Re: Sheffield United v West Ham United: Match Thread

Don’t let VAR cloud the issue. Awful performance from start to finish. Only chances created were two mistakes from them. Midfield was constantly out run and out fought. Two injuries and we’ve got a 34 year old trying to play wingback and a keeper who shouldn’t be anywhere near the first team. Chick...

Re: Mark Noble - West Ham Legend

Really poor performance tonight, so slow. But he was good against Bournemouth?... Yes to both I'm a huge fan of Noble but last night as we watched the game, halfway through the first half, my brother in law ( a Millwall fan!) asked me why wasn't Noble playing!! I had to point him out on TV screen f...

Re: VAR - yes or no ?

Absolute No

Personally, I don't think Declan gained any advantage from the ball hitting his hand. There was still a lot of work to do. He battled through despite the best intention of a typically rough-house tackle.
It's bollox.

Re: Sheffield United v West Ham United: Match Thread

Declan was understandably gutted in the post match interview. He had battled past the Sheffield United player despite his shoulder barge, if Declan had gone down it would have been a free kick but he didn't, and the ball ricoched on to his arm. It could have gone anywhere but clearly it hit his arm,...

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

A comfortable home win against a poor Bournemouth side followed by a professional performance away in FA Cup against an in-form Gillingham were both signs of improvement. Not enough to get carried away with but certainly an indication that things were heading in the right direction. One narrow, cont...

Re: Sheffield United v West Ham United: Match Thread

We weren't rubbish tonight by any stretch. We played well in spurts and were definitely the better team in the first half. However they upped their tempo second half and where more physical and took advantage of a cock up that was equally Martin and Balbuena to blame. Martin then made a key save to ...

Re: FA Cup 4th Round draw

We left as soon as the 4th went in and sulked our way back to the car in that big factory next door. Didn't realise they packed the cars in nose to tail and door to door. Had to sit there until well after full time until we could eventually get out   We were in same car park, but as we w...

Re: FA Cup 4th Round draw

Didn't they murder us in the cup a few years back? Indeed they did. Twas my son's first ever away day and a day to forget. Couple of fatal car crashes en route meant we were so late we listened to the first two goals in the car! When we finally got let in it was half time and when the third went in...

Up until BDO was shown on BBC it was still pretty vocal but I also checked out Eurosport coverage over weekend  Awful and empty tables etc.
This will be the last ever WBO Finals, they can't carry on like this surely.

Re: Gillingham v West Ham United: FAC3 Match Thread

Gills were better than us in the first half without ever really looking like scoring. Moyes had a word at half time and we stepped it up and got the job done.
Pleased to see him putting s strong team out and ultimately, a professional job in the type of game we have unravelled ourselves of late.
