Re: Jan Transfer Window 18/19

I have had to watch Mitrovic a lot this season unfortunately. He IS NOT a replacement for Arnie. Nowhere near as good, ok-ish goalscorer, reasonably slow, mainly mediocre. Wouldnt be an upgrade on Carroll even Mitrovic is easily an upgrade on Carroll he is more mobile 6 years younger and has 8 goal...

Re: ⚽ AFC Bournemouth v West Ham United: Match Thread

Poor game get Carroll off before he gets a red card he has been a passenger he simply don’t suit our style now.I was surprised he got in he starting line up hopefully El Pel has realised his small error today and rectifies it by bringing Hernandez on or Snodgrass shifting Antonio up top or both toge...

Top man.
I agreed with you about your pre match comment on the line up yesterday and the man proves us wrong and not for the first time either. What a manager loving the way we play now! Where is IB? lol

Re: Marko Arnautovic Signs

There are a variety of whispers around. One theme that seems to underpin them - and this applied to Rice - is that some players have been underpaid their current value, especially in comparison to oft injured or bench warmers and it has created one or two issues. Hernandez 100k pw (plus goal bonus)...

Re: Marko Arnautovic Signs

I agree with you TPP. I am thinking back to around 2001 when Trevor Sinclair wanted to leave he went to the managers office and simply handed in his transfer request. He then continued to play and train and give 100% for the club ( while being booed by his own support ) and it turned out later he got...

Re: Felipe Anderson

What a player and a player the manger said he tried to sign previously when he was at man city.I honestly thought after what seemed like a lifetime of on/off transfer negotiations that we would miss out on him as our owners wouldn’t pony up the dosh for this guy. Fair play to them for backing the ma...

Re: Andy Carroll

Could have been sent off within a few minutes of coming on for a few needless and reckless challenges, that coupled with trying to control a lovely crossfield pass from Anderson out of play on the opposite touchline. Big Sam style players don’t fit into an El Pel team he can only get a handful of min...

Re: Jan Transfer Window 18/19

Everything that will ever need to be known about their stewardship (and their claims to be fans as much as businessmen) was the year we were in the top 4 and – almost literally – beating everyone that mattered...and they loaned Emenike. If you don't bolster in those circumstances then you never, ev...

I bet the guys slagging Perez off before he even stepped on the pitch feel stupid now  Carrol is a one trick pony we don't play that style anymore thank god. Well done Lucas I think that is his 4th goal this season despite hardly playing.

After the last few years I didn’t think we could ever play with 4 at the back.If you ignore the Liverpool and city games we haven’t let in tons in the rest of the fixtures and on top of that we are playing much better football also well done boss.

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

What is not to like? try's to get the team playing good attacking football giving youngsters a chance. I posted at the start when most were losing their heads after the first 4 games,I said we will have a better idea after 15 games or so.I know we haven't reached that far yet so i don't want to get ...

Love this guy he looks a real prospect.Kudos to the boss for having the guts to play him ahead of more experienced players we know previous managers wouldn't have done this.

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

Anderson's price is only a bit toppy at £36m (BBC), but that kind of player goes for £25m-£30m easily - and we definitely needed AMs with a bit of pace and flair. Also the fee was higher due to the fact Lazio had to pay his previous club in Brazil a 20% sell on fee, this played a part in the length...

Re: ⚽ Everton vs West Ham Utd: match thread (16/9)

Worst Everton defence in 15-20 years last season and Silva isn't likely to improve it. Front 6 is okay, but no more.. Very winnable fixture in spite of it being a bit of a bogey ground over the years. Someone other than Arnie needs to chip in with goals. It is hard to see where the goals will come ...
