Re: West Ham United v Reading: Match Thread

Anyone know what Hunt was going on about to the Bobby Moore Lower at the end? Seemed to be c*nt*ng us off and then made the crossed hammers sign, so maybe not. Whatever that is one p**** ****-up family that Ireland has produced. Roberts and Pearce should be reported for incitement post final whistl...

Re: West Ham United v Reading: Match Thread

Just got back. Fans were top notch today  scenes in the BML when Carlton scored were mental! Best half of football i've seen West Ham play at the Boleyn in a long while, cracking stuff. 2 very avoidable goals went in and we never looked back. Sam's substitution was all wrong and had no effect...

Re: West Ham United v Reading: Match Thread
To be honest I thought Taylor was poor again
He wasn't brilliant but I just couldn't get my head around having strikers all on pitch at once with no service in the wide areas, I know Vaz Te was out wide,, but surely that is not were he wants to be or where he is most effec...

Re: West Ham United v Reading: Match Thread

The atmosphere today was fantastic in the first half, in all areas of the ground! BFS ruined it with his VERY negative half time change, this was worsened through the penalty and the subsequent dreadful decision to remove Taylor from the pitch! Not disgusted, just bitterly dissapointed with the resu...

Re: West Ham United v Reading: Match Thread

The day is finally here, everyone who is going today needs to get behind the lads, whatever your opinion is of Sam and his techniques, however much you pay week in week out, we need all the support we can get to get through this poor home form and to beat our closest rivals in terms of promotion! CO...

Re: West Ham United v Reading: Match Thread

This will be a tight game! 2-1 in either direction, depends upon whether our fans get behind the lads or on their backs! BL5, not stood in the Bobby Moore Lower for about 5-6 years, looking forward to it!

Probably the team I'd have chosen in this situation! Maybe not Nolan, but he did score at Cardiff, just hoping for the 3 points now!!

They were hardly sitters, RVP last night was a sitter! I'd personally like to see a 4-4-2 with Maynard partnering Cole, it won't happen.

Re: West Ham Utd v Watford: match thread

Aslong as we don't dump a striker on the wing, for example Vaz Te then I'll be pleased with whatever side or formation we play, BFS knows best, we're 2nd in the league for a reason, and a chance to go top #PromotionPush

Re: West Ham Utd v Millwall: match thread

Sorry mate but I have to disagree with this, Collison was absolutely useless against Ipswich, probably the worst I have ever seen him. He has definitely lost form and I wouldn't even have him on the bench, he seems to have developed into a proper bottle job, scared to tackle. Having said that the r...

Re: West Ham Utd v Millwall: match thread

I couldn't agree more Knighter, but as has been so widely mentioned - Nolan is "untouchable" when it comes to getting dropped or subbed. Capt Kev, Fauxbear and Reid wouldn't be near the starting 11 on Saturday if I was putting the team out. Noble and Collison have been far more consistant and would...

Re: West Ham Utd v Millwall: match thread

I know there are a stack of people that keep suggesting Nolan to play as the 2nd stirker, or to sit in the hole behind a solitary front man - (effectively keep building the formation around him), but we've got better attacking players for his supposed natural position now, so sorry Kev but you need...
