Re: Leicester City v West Ham United: Match Thread

The first half was absolutely atrocious, up there with one of the worst displays I've seen for a while. Second half much better mainly because of Antonio coming on, ok we lost the second half as well but clearly we were pushing to get back in the game, I don't mind that, I would rather lose 4-1 and ...

Re: 2019/2020 Relegation Thread

At Upton Park I wouldn't have minded getting relegated, but the prospect of going to watch West Ham v Rotherham on a Tuesday night at the OS has to be one of the most unappealing ways to spend a midweek evening I can think of.

Re: Leicester City v West Ham United: Match Thread

A team on a poor run of form and looking like they have lost their mojo - enter West Ham United. I'm sure Moyes will set up with 3 at the back as seems to be his preference in away games so far in this spell. I would setup like this: Randolph Diop Balbuena Ogbonna Zabaleta Noble Rice Snodgrass Masua...

Re: Testicular Cancer

Just get it checked by your GP. I had a similar feeling back in the summer of last year, got it checked, no issues and the pain all went away on its own a week later. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be and better to get it checked out rather than worrying about it for weeks on end.

Re: Protests against the board being planned

Fantastic turnout today, well done to all the speakers including the gaffer himself! Easily 1,000+ there. Great point made about the numbers that weren’t there, 40-50k in the ground that couldn’t be bothered to show up or don’t agree is a bit worrying. The numbers need to get better if this is going...

Re: West Ham United v Everton: Match Thread

Not the 3 points we needed but a hard earned draw. Not sure we have the quality or confidence at the moment without Antonio to go out and get at teams and win games. That Brighton game is massive already. To add I thought Ajeti was decent for the 10 minutes he came on, battled, worked hard and put h...

On my way, haven’t felt this positive about going to a home game for a long time. Hopefully the start of something new. Well done Hammers United.

Re: Protests against the board being planned

Superb, further evidence that these clowns don't know what they are doing, they would have been better off keeping schtum this week, but they couldn't help but try and get their sycophantic media mates to spin things their way, but instead have just managed to stir up more ill-feeling resulting in ...

No chance we should let him go there again next season. Let him see the season out, get them promoted and we will have him back.

Re: Protests against the board being planned

Well I wasn't going to go to the protest or the game this weekend but I've changed my mind after all the b*llocks the owners have put out in the media this week - it's only wound everyone up more. Should be a good one tomorrow :scarfer:

Re: 2019/2020 Relegation Thread

No but apparently there is a clause which lowers the rent while we are out of the Premier League. Maybe that is what the owners are after, make the deal even worse for he taxpayer and they will be gifted a prime piece of real estate. No chance that even they want that. If we go down and stay down t...

Re: Protests against the board being planned

Forget the propaganda war; have we improved or moved on as a club in the last 10 years? IMO it is a big fat NO. No we haven't, we were all sold down the river by the owners and their lies. This club no longer has any assets other than the mediocre players on its books. All we have achieved as a res...

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

Barkley not been getting much game time at Chelsea this season, then? Has he been injured, or just not been getting picked? Seems like he's becoming something of a wasted talent. Absolute rubbish. He was still playing regularly for Chelsea and England until Mason Mount stepped up massively this sea...

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

Diop is a complete mystery to me at the moment on several levels. I'm surprised that so many people are against selling him for £££, when you also consider most people think our defence is crap and Diop is currently deemed not even good enough to get in that team. I'm also surprised that Spurs, Che...

Compared to Lanzini, Barkley is much stronger and has a wider range of passing. If I could swap the two then I would.
I agree, especially as we have Fornals now who is already starting to look like a better prospect than Lanzini.

Will would be an utter disaster in that position. Headless chicken, yes he would win a few tackles and interceptions but as for the rest of the skill set required would be severely lacking
Would remind me of when we had Kouyate playing there...
