Re: Summer Transfer Window 2018- 77 days remaining

Hints here from a rather nebulous Ken Dyer article that the board will be financing transfer activity from sales. https://www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/west-ham-transfer-budget-at-least-75m-as-manuel-pellegrini-plots-summer-spree-a3848286.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onc...

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2018- 77 days remaining

Yep for 2 whole season's now. He's finally shaken off his woes from Liverpool. On a Free I'd certainly take a 'punt' on him. So he has scored quite a lot of goals at Nice - which is great, but I don't know much about the standard of the French league. When I have seen him at Liverpool/Milan I have ...

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2018- 78 days remaining

I've just given you a clear example that it's not a given he'd be off. You reckon he'll be gone like a shot, let's see how the Summer pans out.. You stated with a fair amount of certainty about why he was going to stay. Your reason seems to be that Di Canio did. That's pretty flimsy. I don't know t...

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2018- 78 days remaining

They said the same about Di Canio once too, same outcome. I fully expect him to remain come the start of the season. So you have no basis for the statement other than you think so because reasons? If you want I can reel off a list of players that ****ed off the first time someone waved a few quid a...

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2018- 78 days remaining

Arnie wouldn't ditch us as quick as that. He has a bit more about him than to do the dirty on us so soon and would be a move the Club would force if anything and I don't believe that either. He'll be here next season. Citation needed. He is 29 and they are one of the biggest clubs in the world. If ...

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2018- 80 days remaining

Reckon Pellegrini could take a look at Cazorla? Released by Arsenal, managed him at Villarreal, where he's training this summer and Malaga. Not saying we should go for him but maybe having him in on trial might not be a bad idea. It would be a bad idea: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/41857095...

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th new manager

I guess that applies to some players towards the end of their career too to be fair. Both players and managers have their own reasons for making that decision some more positive than others no doubt Surely only the length of a Manager's career (and the risk of injury ending it) relative to a player...

That actaullly speaks volumes to me. At least his desire to work in one of the top leagues in world football is still there. Unlike half of these players you see sodding off to China for the big payday.
Er, he himself went to China for a big payday.

Good luck to you Sir. Have the board told you that your wages and sign-on are coming out of the transfer kitty yet?

Re: Little things that irritate you

The dose of the shits that I have at the moment. My stomach woke me at 4 30 to tell me that I needed to evacuate my bowels without delay. I then had to do this a further seven times over the next half an hour. This has been going on since Monday.

I must have lost a few pounds though.

If you prefer we could have given him a five year contract? There's your long term solution. He's still ****.

Either back Adrian or replace him properly.

What is great about a 34 year old striker with a knackered knee that scored three league goals last season? Nothing, unless you are David Sullivan.
