Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

We are 16th in the league with a midfield consisting of sanchez, noble, snodgrass, wilshere, yarmalenko And we binned off obiang, we need 2 fit athletic midfielders we cannot keep neglecting this as we simply will go down. Imagine us trying to keep pace with leeds last night, we would have lasted 10...

Re: FA Cup 3rd Round Matches

Leeds are everything we are not,
To think some people would be happy with a midfield consisting of noble, snodgrass and joe Allen...
Wouldnt last 15 minutes.

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

No point in debating the point with someobe who states snodgrass has been superb, i guess we want different things from a football team.

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

We need to improve our first 11, 16th in the league confirms that, when you bring players in they should always be players to improve your first team.
Now is the time we have to improve on a severely weak position in our team not bring in a squad filler.

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

The issue isint joe allen as a person its what he represents as a footballer,
We need the opposite, you cant go forward as a club with snodgrass, noble, sanchez, wilshere, allen.
If we saw that as a opositions midfield options we would rightly say we can overun it easily.

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

I presume we'll try and bring john paintsil back....

Baffled how anyone can think joe allen would be a good option for a team with the slowest midfield in the league.

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

Gut wrenching even seeing links to allen.
Ageing, slow, no physicality
Literally the complete opposite of what we need.
Imagine seeing a team of snodgrass and nobles and thinking hang on we actually need less pace in the team.

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

Midfield has been the priority for so long now and we go and waste money from a small kitty on a waste of a keeper. What the hell is wrong with tbe idiots in charge that a midfielder with energy and athleticism is not already in the door. I really don't think a win against a woeful bournemouth and a...

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

Berge and fernandez literally transforms us,
Its the youth, energy we have been crying out for years.
Doubt it will happen but even being linked with them at least shows the oenny has dropped finally.

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

We don't need joe allen or shelvey we need the complete polar opposite, young, athletic up and down midfielder who can turnover possesion and transition to our forward players. Every 1 in 5 games our midfield works then people seem to quickly forget the other 4 games where the midfield gets walked t...

Re: ⚽ Crystal Palace v West Ham United: Match thread (26/12)

Be very very hard to compete at championship level with a midfield consisting of plodgrass and sloble,
Dont get in any other teams midfield yet start week in week out, we concede lots after 60 minutes as simply no legs.

Not many below us but they are now picking up points,
Its not even debatable anymore he has to go now.
It will be moyes or hughton.

Switch fornals, put anderson on left and let slobgrass sleep his hangover off.

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

10 years in charge now
Same desperate january window.
Zero progression made.
Clear regression.
Looking at the likes of randolph and joe allen.
Times up now.

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

If there's anyone at the club who actually thinks joe allen is the answer to the slowest most lethargic central midfield it just shows why we year are year we are in a mess.
Hope its just agent talk as if we bring in more crap like him we simply deserve everything we get.

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

Linked with another journeyman joe allen, I presume now hussilios is out of the picture we go back to the el sullivan scouting network. Looks for a club that needs to sell players find stoke and will probably make a bid for him and butland. A window where the like of sander berge and kessie from mil...

Re: Who Next? The odds

I dont see the problem with hughton, done well at newcastle and brighton, we need a manager to bring this lot together and to form a unit, no point in having a manager like ancelloti when you have snodgrass, noble, sanchez, yarmalenko all moving at a snails pace. January, get a mobile strong midfiel...

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

We need a overhaul in most areas of the pitch, we need to update and inject pace, energy and aggression especially in the midfield, sadly it doesn't look like its going to change and this could very well be the season where we Actually dont get out of this mess. How the slowest most lethargic midfie...

Re: Who Next? The odds

Well whoever we get will we likely be competing against the likes of everton and arsenal to tempt them, As others have said it'll likely be rafa with the subsequent rafa out thread 12-18 months later. The way forward is to recruit a younger hungrier manager who has a high tempo philosophy, Need a co...
