Re: Javier Hernandez Signs
I was really pleased when we signed him. I instantly thought of his days at MU coming on late and nicking winners, clinical, fox etc etc. Now the reality has set in, we do not pen teams in chasing league titles. The reality is he gets played up front on his own in a backs to the wall away game vs a ...

Re: Tottenham Hotspur v West Ham Utd match thread
A point away in the Prem against a top half of the table team is a good point. Given the current state of our club and the ***** that are running us even more so. I actually enjoy a backs to the wall game when we defend for our lives, it's not not ****ing FIFA, you can't restart when it's not going ...

Re: West Ham Utd v West Bromwich Albion: match thread
What little momentum we had was thrown away by not trying at Arsenal with 7k of us in a quarter final of a trophy we could actually lift. Not bothering in that hasn't worked has it? 1 point out of a crucial 6 so far, can you really see it being 4 out of a possible 9? No, neither can I.

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions
Plenty of us used to walk back to Plaistow, around 20mins no different to Stratford in my eyes The walk back to Plaistow would take me 1 1/2 hours or more sometimes what with all the grabbing a burger, pin badge for the boy, can of Tyskie from the offy, sifting through the second hand Next delivery...

Pointless tripe. If we end up in the championship we'll have more chance of lifting a cup? Is that what it is?

Re: Arsenal v West Ham Utd: match thread
I fell in love with football as a kid. Watching cup finals. The drama, pride and emotion of it all and the absolute joy that win in1980 bought to everyone in our road is surely the whole point of football. The aim of it is to lift silverware, well it always was until the whole Sky / Prem thing came ...

Re: Arsenal v West Ham Utd: match thread
It did not seem like the normal away crowd at all last night. No way. Very watered down and quiet.

Re: Arsenal v West Ham Utd: match thread
It's the brainwashed Sky brigade that think that last night didn't matter. It was a quarter final, London derby with 7k West Ham there against a Big Four club who were there for the taking and we didn't bother. Let's concentrate on finishing mid table in the over puffed Premier League instead of act...

Re: Stoke City v West Ham Utd: match thread
Neither team can afford to lose this one and it is a tough place to go to no matter what form we are in. Another clean sheet would do nicely and I can see a few cards flying about in this one it will be battle.

i just hope we pile into them in the tackle if we can get close enough. They'll all be wearing gloves and expecting an easy ride. Turn it into a boodbath and kick the **** out of them. We can't compete with oil money fueled superstar ***** like this so lets have a rumble. Play football and we will b...

Re: West Ham United v Liverpool match thread
It was this game last year that cemented our decision not to renew. After the buzz of the Spurs game before it was like a load of WH zombies were rolled out to support us for this one. We were singing the Ludo song walking over one of the bridge and people were looking at us with their mouths open. ...

Re: Crystal Palace v West Ham Utd: match thread
I for one was screaming at us to counter and for more to join in in the middle. Yes the cross was a mess and they capitalised on it but I wanted us to attack, I want to see us going for a 3rd, I want to leap around and celebrate that 3rd to cap a good day out. It didn't happen and Palace got a thoro...

Re: Crystal Palace v West Ham Utd: match thread
This will be a battle. The lads on the pitch last night showed fight so as many as possible should start again. Particularly Noble who I thought sparked it by lairing up over the ball back incident. Momentum.

Re: Tottenham Hotspur v West Ham Utd: match thread
It's taken a while, but Ayew won me over last night. Not only the goals but a proper shift. At the end he was back heading away crosses and when he could carrying the ball away to relieve the pressure. He even had the ghost of Sir Carlton hovering above his head in the interview after! That mattered...

Re: Tottenham Hotspur’s v West Ham United cup match thread
All this tripe about they don't care. We are their neighbours and they need to lift a trophy this year or risk losing some stars. Yes they are ahead of us by a distance at the moment but we aren't mugs. Come on lads put in a shift tonight on & off the pitch, forget Brighton and Palace who gives ...

Re: [POLL] Are YOU happy at the Olympic/London Stadium?
No , gave up ST this season along with my son who is 14. Even he hates it and doesn't want to go. It was West Ham's one and only chance to make a play for the next level but the 3 lying pigs managed to nause it up on a scale even the most pessimistic of fans couldn't have predicted. They just cannot...
