For a striker his size he should be winning aerial duels though. We took Arnautovic’s physicality and work rate for granted I think.
:? But Haller's won more ariel duels than any player in the whole league. 127! 14 more than the next player.

One thing I've heard is Samuelson extended loan has been refused so maybe Moyes has plans for him in our first team (hope so as he looks skilful).
Samuelson is never gonna make it as a Premier League player, no chance

Re: Mark Noble - West Ham Legend

Henderson is incredibly underrated imo. To say Noble is a better footballer than the current Champions League winning captain is some statement. Surely a top manager at a top club would have noticed this talent at some stage.

Which bit wasn’t the harsh? The point that he hadn’t played as well for 12 months (when he has) or the suggestion that he’s in tune with the owners and deliberately downs tools against a struggling manager?
Both points

Re: Mark Noble - West Ham Legend

Top post Pezza. Dont think its harsh at all. What I dont understand is its widely accepted/demanded that we need to sign a centre midfielder with a bit of pace and power but then so many think that Noble is such an important player within the team. Surely it's Nobles position that any new midfielder...

Rich - Again I ask, if he refused to agree to letting the club attach hes name to statements that they make, do you think he would have been denied a contract.

Re: ⚽ West Ham United v Bournemouth: Match thread (01/01)

Massive game today after recent results. Whoever loses this match is in serious trouble. Reckon we might go 4-4-1-1 with Anderson behind Haller. Biggest concern has to be that Wilson hasn't scored for ages.

Re: Mark Noble's letter to us - 31/12/2019

So if Mark Noble loves West Ham like everyone of us, he must have noticed what Sullivan and Co. have done to the club. So to then sign a contract that basically allows the club to put out statements in hes name is a bit f***** up if you ask me. So if Noble refused, would he have been denied a new co...

Re: Mark Noble's letter to us - 31/12/2019

He is apart of the problem. He should have been upgraded years ago and is not a good captain in my opinion. Been saying this for at least 3 years, at times it's as if some fans support Mark Noble more than they do West Ham and Sullivan makes the most of that. Purely the club captain based on hes bi...

Sangarè from Toulouse remains the lad who would transform our entire season But it’s gonna be Fellaini Yep, I've been saying this for at least a year, would provide us with a bit of presence in the midfield, would immediately half Rice's workload and allow our attacking midfielders to err....attack

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

Hardly an inspiring appointment, but all we can do is give him a chance. Maybe as football fans we all think we know more than we do. Everton appointing both Ronald Koeman and Marco Silva were both seen as good appointments, both had done pretty well in the Premier League with other clubs and both w...

Re: The Fans are part of the problem

Imho empty seats wouldn't bother them too much, financially gate receipts are a small percentage of the clubs income, and even then the majority of seats are already paid for by season tickets. Embarrassed by the empty seats? No chance. If their not embarrassed by what they've done to the club in th...

Had we got through to the quarter finals and faced a Liverpool youth team, I dont think anyone here would be questioning what to do with the tournemount. I remember people saying the cup was crap when teams like Leicester (before they were good), Middlesboro, Swansea and Blackburn were winning it, b...
