Re: Mark Noble - West Ham Legend

Perhaps he will get that trophy opportunity next year in our promotion season ... Pick up the playoff trophy at Wembley again and then sail off into the sunset. It'd be a good way to remember him. He gets so much stick, some of it fair a lot of it not. He has been a constant servant to the club in ...

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

Is Haller and Anderson could form a partnership, we'd walk out of the relegation zone. How good is Anderson's back at the moment though after being savagely hacked out of the game by the blunts - can we sue them for 100m at the end of the season given that one player is the difference between releg...

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

Nothing to do with Moyes taking Antonio off and putting Masuaku on switching to five at the back and totally confusing the players then? Sitting deep inviting Brighton on and making them look like Barcelona which inevitably led to capitulation and Murray’s obligatory goal against us. In fairness it...

Before this thread sinks and dies, I want to thank all the people whose gallows humour has made reading it bearable.
Can you imagine life as a West Ham supporter of gallows humor wasn't so much a part of our DNA... Slashed wrists all round.

Re: ⚽ Manchester City v West Ham United:Match thread (19/02)

Sorry but Fornals was becoming one of our better performing players until Moyes came in. I would have him over Noble all day long. You could have put anybody from our bench in central midfield and they would have offered something more than Noble. I don't know why Fornals wasn't even on the bench t...

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

Not so sure. If anything, he had nothing to lose coming in from a bad position, yet has Fabianski back, amongst others and the likes of Fornals finding some form at last yet still he can't get a tune out the team and even ****'s Fornals off altgether. We are somehow performing worse than when Pelle...

Re: ⚽ Manchester City v West Ham United:Match thread (19/02)

To be fair he was probably thinking De Bruyne was going to square it and was expecting the cross, but unfortunately De Bruyne is a ****ing good player and took the other option. The question should really be why did Slowble allow him to pass to Silva then just run unimpeded to collect the return - ...

Re: ⚽ Manchester City v West Ham United:Match thread (19/02)

Back to the drawing board huh? If only West Ham possessed such a thing. Or you know some coaching staff to use the second hand one they bought from a school that was chucking it out and they came by and said hey we'll give you our whole youth team budget for that blackboard, but we're chucking it a...

Re: ⚽ Manchester City v West Ham United:Match thread (19/02)

so why not bring a forward on after the second goal, that makes no sense? Because chasing a 1 goal deficit with 10 left is an option, chasing a 2 goal deficit (against city) with 20 left would be begging to drop 2/3 more goals. We were set up so defensively that IF you were being infinitely kind to...

Re: ⚽ Manchester City v West Ham United:Match thread (19/02)

Amen to that, SH! The Saints game is an absolute, must win game. Whatever it takes. I'm no way saying it's an easy game but if we don't win these sort of games, we will fully deserve to go down. Sadly true, but who in our team has the bottle to stand up to that kind of pressure? Who has the charism...

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

Where are all the “I don’t care if he was sacked first time around. I will give him a chance because that’s the (take your pick) West Ham way or the right thing to do” ?? You know, the same people that would of course extent the same welcome if the club had brought Avram Grant back…. He was on a hi...

Re: ⚽ Manchester City v West Ham United:Match thread (19/02)

It was a training match for MC. I've said it before and I'll say it again, I bet their training matches are more competitive than that. If their 2nd 11 put in so little effort I imagine Pep would have ripped them a new arse. From the moment that the teams were announced it was obvious all we wanted...

Clubs like Man City are so f*cking sad they’re probably paying a professional sprinter to wear the mascot suit to make sure they always win the races :asleep: Pity they couldn't pay for a crowd to show up. We'd have more at the ****ing toilet bowl.to watch us get thumped than they've got at home to...

**** me...

If we pull out a point with this as the starting team having had time to rest and get what he wants from them...

Anderson, Haller, bowen on the bench. 100+m of transfers... Probably more than the starting line up cost...
