Re: Allardyce: Stick or twist

I've been predominately stick, with maybe a lit wobble. But that being said, if a company made a perfume that you didn't like the smell of you wouldn't buy it, or tell people how much you liked it. If that company then decided to start making their odour smell like your childhood holidays and sunshi...

Re: Allardyce: Stick or twist

Also "Bolton went one better in 2000–01 by reaching the play-off final where they beat Preston North End 3–0 to achieve promotion to the Premiership after a three-year absence. Allardyce said he planned to walk away from football at the end of his 10-year contract at Bolton Wanderers, when he would ...

Re: Allardyce: Stick or twist

Yeah I thought it was to make a step up career wise.

Makes you wonder how far Bolton could've gone had he stayed there. Almost definitely wouldn't be where they are now.

Re: Allardyce: Stick or twist

I know this is off subject, just trying to remember myself. Under what circumstances did Allardyce leave Bolton?

Re: Burnley vs West Ham: Match Thread

Hopefully we can carry on improving and record an easy away win here. I'd like to see Valencia notch if he does play. Would be nice to see Song score as well, just to see how much he celebrates, always gauge whether a footballer's just being professional, or whether they really do like the club in t...

Re: West Ham United v Queens Park Rangers: match thread

The way Carlton used to always have a good game against Rio and Vidic (never quite understood that) I think he'll grab a goal once thrown on at the end.

So that's at least one for us :D

Re: Manchester United v West Ham United: Match Thread

I think a game like this is perfect for Allardyce with our new squad. If we can play with the defensive discipline shown in previous years, and in the second half against Liverpool, we should be able to suppress their attack. Then with the pace we now have in the team, pin them in once we start to a...

Re: Allardyce: Stick or twist

Fuertehammer that is bang on. I've been reading this forum for a long time, observing all the silly arguments and I can't help but get involved now. Allardyce is here to stay, I'm afraid that seems to be the case, however you see him. Who knows if we all go back to supporting the boys and ignoring t...
