Were not a well functioning team though are we, far from it in fact?
Correct, which by Ironing Board's logic above means we do not work hard on the training ground

Re: ⚽ Manchester City v West Ham United:Match thread (19/02)

On the training field. It is better to ease someone in, especially given it is far more important that he is ready for Saints. Would be dreadful if he got crocked before then! I would imagine he will get more minutes against Liverpool The flaw being we frequently lose players to training ground inj...

Re: Mark Noble - West Ham Legend

It's not Noble's fault he's getting played. He still gives 100% and we do miss his stewardship when he's not on the pitch. He's no Neill or Nolan but he's the best we've got. We really lack leaders in the team (one of the reasons we are where we are) which is why I think every manager we have had i...

Re: ⚽ Manchester City v West Ham United:Match thread (19/02)

I agree. But Haller is sadly too slow and immobile to give City problems, while I understand not throwing Bowen in at the deep end against City. You don’t want to harm his confidence by giving him a thankless task. Also, it will take a bit of time for him to develop and understanding with his teamm...

Re: ⚽ Manchester City v West Ham United:Match thread (19/02)

Haller would at least have won some of the longer balls forward and given Antonio something to chase. Snodgrass was a complete waste of a player up front. As MB has mentioned, Noble was the one to sacrifice for a forward yesterday with Snodgrass playing deeper. We didn't need 9 defenders and a keep...

Re: Mark Noble - West Ham Legend

Noble looks like a man who should have left to play Vets football but is still giving it a go against the youngsters. The mind is willing but the body is not. I find it quite sad to see really. Having said that I'd give him a rest and see if it perks him up. He shouldn't be undroppable. Yep, it rea...

Matt Law, I learned today, is the latest writer to have been banned from West Ham's press room.
It's getting to the stage whereby if you haven't received a ban your credibility is up for question, e.g. that Moose twat

Sorry if posted elsewhere but the latest subtle-as-a-brick attempt to divide and conquer... https://www.whufc.com/news/articles/2020/february/05-february/west-ham-united-chairmen-meeting-supporter-representatives They must think we were born yesterday. Re: Banned By The Club For Wearing Anti-Board Shirt

What troubles me about this is LS185's malicious use of a clause in the terms and conditions to penalise someone whose opinions they don't like. The terms are vague: "...presence in the ground could constitute a source of danger, nuisance or annoyance." That's ripe for creative interpretation. Quit...

Re: Stop and Search / Stop and Go

I thought they were? That's why they have the handheld scanner things? The whole point I thought was to prevent terrorists from getting onto the island and attacking people who are congregating outside the ground. If it isn't then they could just search for bottle tops, drinks, pyro etc before the ...

Re: Stop and Search / Stop and Go

They don't search everybody who walks into Westfield Shopping Centre and that's as much a terrorist target as a West Ham football match - and almost certainly a softer one. This whole thing is way OTT - justifiable on occasion (i.e. Millwall, Spurs etc), but not every time . I don't think they are ...

The abject lack of an alternative captain certainly highlights one aspect of the wider troubles that are paralysing this squad.
Absolutely, we are short on leaders in the squad since the departure of Collins and demise of Reid

Re: Protests against the board being planned

Their tactics to try and derail and/or discredit the upcoming protests, organised and to be attended by a significant number of fans of the club they pretend to support, are entirely predictable and will continue. Makes you wonder what they will attempt to do on the day of the next protest or in the...

Re: Protests against the board being planned

How dare they mention Hammers United in the same article as this filth. https://www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/west-ham-liftime-bans-liverpool-team-bus-vandalised-a4353281.html What an abysmal and poorly written article. Re: Stop and Search / Stop and Go

Ironically enough, during the entire matchday experience, the time I feel most vulnerable and at risk is being in the queues for the security check. Precisely, should anything actually happen it would be carnage and it's those areas that would be targeted. Other than the odd bottle top or oversized...
