Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

I understand we cant buy a whole new team in January but we are going down with that defence. Staggering how not many can see how poor it is. Agree. It’s pretty awful. A central midfielder would help for sure (although unsure Soucek is the man we need) but ultimately that midfielder doesn’t change ...

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

With 3 PROPER signings. A right back, Soucek and a forward, we could avoid relegation I’m not sure mate, I still think we’d need more. Cresswell and Masuaku are Championship level LBs. Yarmolenko and Lanzini are finished at the top level and, as much as I love Antonio, it’s mental that each game / ...

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

I guess the biggest questions are, is he what we need and his is enough of an upgrade on what we have? Berge is available for a similar price, although not sure he’d come now. Would still need a RB, LB, AM and ST to have any chance of staying up, so this signing does feel a little pointless without ...

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

Our biggest window for a long, long time, seeing as we have a threadbare squad with very little quality, lots of injuries and a horrendous set of fixtures, all while hovering just above the relegation zone. We needed numbers. We needed pace, power and fight. We needed those players in early. The own...

Anyone seen Soucek play?

Doesn’t really matter anyway, won’t be signing him.

His son-in-law is meant to be a West Ham fan isn’t he?

Could we be under financial difficulties that we are not aware of?
We shouldn’t be, but if we are, then it really highlights even more their incompetence in running a football club.

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

I know he’s a very crud manager, but I do feel sorry for the bloke. He was THAT desperate to get back into football that he took, arguably, one of, if not THE worst managerial gigs in English football.

Re: David Sullivan - Has he taken us as far as he can ?

£40m to stay afloat? Scaremongering as usual.

But IF there is any element of truth to it, it only proves even more than we already know, that they should not be running ANY football club, let alone ours.

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

If Reid isnt in Moyes plans then an offer for him and Wilshire would at least free up some off the wage bill We freed up hundreds of thousands of the weekly wage bill over the summer and made absolutely no difference. If Reid and Wilshere go, it’ll probably be after the transfer windows closes anyw...

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

He is the one who chose to sign a bunch of lightweight showponies. The fact people still cannot accept the foundation of a good team is a solid defense and hardworking midfield is beyond me. Show ponies? There’s one player he has signed who could fall under that category - Anderson. But I think he ...

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

weird innit Byram is playing 90 mis every week, we couldn't keep him fit for 2 games in a row, he could be playing right back for us now. Don’t think it is that weird, Ben. We always get injuries. We seem to turn many un-injury-prone players into injury-prone players. The medical staff clearly isn’...

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

What Mark Hughes did to Stoke is a virtual carbon copy of what Pellegrini and Husillos have done here. I know you’re trying your hardest to defer any blame from your lover’s door, but MP & MH aren’t the ones to blame. I wasn’t MP’s biggest fan by the end of his reign, but no way can he be held resp...
