VAR is b*llocks.

On this mate we are 100% in agreement.

Football is about goals and VAR is doing it's best to take goals away.

(Yes I'm aware it's not VAR itself it is how it is being used)

Re: VAR - yes or no ?

All going on in the Burnley game, Bournemouth level the game, but then Burnley are awarded a Penalty after yet another VAR check.

Bournemouth's goal is therefore ruled out.

Burnley score from the spot and it's 2-0

This is ****ing pathetic and not football.

I don't see a Bournemouth goal, was it disallowed?
Yes apparently after a very long winded VAR check.

I just can't get fully behind a manager who goes into a match with the objective of losing.

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

Managers of the sort you're identifying don't want to manage West Ham London, it appears. The Money Sullivan pays managers such as the amount they played Sam and Pelle, I am pretty confident they can attract much better than David Moyes. And if they cant then what on earth is the point of even tryi...

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

Again Bubbs, please answer this and without resorting to past managers and what they did or did not do. Lets also pretend for a second we have decent owners. Lets move on from this season and onto a future with David Moyes as our long term manager. "Do you think if Moyes was to keep us up, would he ...

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

I think I get your thought process..... Anything good - that must be someone else, or there must be a way of finding a negative to minimise it..... Anything bad - absolutely Moyes, no mitigating factors ever.... What good has he done so far, and please don't use the Brighton game ffs. Also please f...

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

DiSCO West Ham United 3 Tottenham Hotspur 4 Oh how the spurs fans thought they killed our season, how Mark Nobke was bought to tears at the final whistle seconds after Tottenham scored there winner, but he was bought to tears by pride as well as disappointment, 35000 people clapped their respective...

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

Nowt desperate involved, Nero; it's just a difference of perspective and opinion. I just expect the bloke to be given a fair crack of the whip. In my mind, that's until the end of the season and an opportunity against all teams. Vilifying him for getting beat by the top three without giving him gam...

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

Seeing as Moyes himself said he had no input into the Bournemouth game that cant be included. Not to mention even if it could Bournemouth at the time was the worse team in the Division. Brighton, you are aware we never actually played that well. we were twice 2 goals in front and two of them was via...

Of course I can. It's the most sensible way.

Who in the right mind would expect the same result against Liverpool as against Norwich?

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

Picking and choosing when you think you'll pick up points is so arrogant, rather than trying to win every game although fully aware that's not really possible. It wreaks of defeatism too when you start chalking off games you struggle to see us lose just by a goal or two hoping upon hope we just hol...

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

Yes it does, if the point being made is about lack of improvement. No it really does not and it is a very weak and poor argument you are using to try and justify why Moyes is doing a "good" Job. You imho are just making yourself look pretty foolish and you are better than that. Just the same as tho...

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

Bubbs66 your argument is one of the weakest on here. You cannot keep using game by game comparisons to back Moyes, it simply does not work that way. Do I want him gone, Hell yes. Why? well for one reason alone I will never back any manager who writes of any game as a loss before the game has even be...
