Re: Weekend Fixtures 18/19/1/20

League, Wolves 1-1 Liverpool

Cup, Tranmere 1-1 Watford

Did I just here that right, an Englishman has not scored a league goal for Wolves for over a year.

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

Yet here you are, on a daily basis for the last 18 months, defending an infinitely worse manager... I had to in the end Foe him. I did not want to, but 18 months of Moyes this and Moyes that was just wearing thin. It started of clearly as a joke, but has now become a quite scary and weird Obsession...

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

I asked this yesterday and I want to ask it again, now many have calmed down after yesterdays latest 4-1 drubbing. If Moyes keeps us up, is he the right man to push us forward. Or do we keep him and just aim for 17th+ each year. If We do get relegated will he be the right man for a promotion push, i...

Just out of interest, does anyone one here (aside from ironing board) think that any other Premier League team would have given Moyes a job?
Plenty.

Oh sorry, I assume you was not meaning as a manager or coach.

Re: West Ham United v West Bromwich Albion: FAC4R Match Thread

Taking all 4 kids and the wife... not quite sure why, I must be mad! still only cost me £24; cheaper than the cinema and a day out in that there London with the family. hopefully some light relief from the league, I dont expect much though. Can any of you kids play at all or even your wife and do t...

If Austin does score for them, I hope he runs over towards our directors box and lifts his leg up and points to his knee. :)

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

" His West Brom team might be top of the league but if you look at underlying stats they shouldn’t be anywhere near where they are " Does that not then highlight what a great job he is doing there. They play some cracking football, they are the Championships Leading goal scorers and the fans bloody ...

Re: Leicester City v West Ham United: Match Thread

What was the Championship game? I think we may have also come from 2-0 down to beat Sunderland once, but that might just be my mind playing tricks and I cant recall what League we were in. (if we indeed did) Edit just checked, yes it was Sunderland, 2003/4 season under Pardew. The game where Dailly ...

Re: Leicester City v West Ham United: Match Thread

Nedn I was just trying to think of how many time I have seen West Ham in my 30+ years as a supporter, come from 2 goals down to win. I am sure there is more but I can only think of 4. Barnsley, 0-2, won 3-2 Bradford, 2-4, won 5-4 (Still my all time favourite West Ham match) Everton, 0-2 won 3-2 Hudd...

Re: Leicester City v West Ham United: Match Thread

What’s most frustrating about this loss, was once we had pulled one back at the start of the second half, we really had all the momentum and you would have backed us to equalize and maybe win. You could see our tails up. No we didn't, no you couldn't and no you wouldn't. :D I still thought it would...

I’m 0 about everything football at the moment though to be honest
Almost the same.

ZERO!

The Championship is fun and you don't have to put up with media bias or VAR.

There is no way David Moyes would turn down any job, especially already having been interviewed. The bloke was clearly desperate.
He might have turned 1 or 2 down. But not 9 and most certainly not 3 premier league clubs one of which was Everton.

No chance in hell.

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

Mate Everton are a much bigger club than us and he was their manager for 10+ years. Even they said no to him. (By all accounts they were one of the 3 teams that interviewed him) Sorry but for me that speaks volumes. Sorry for me I cant buy that he was interviewed by 9 different English clubs but was...

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

I’m waiting to be told how many games he’s allowed before it’s acceptable to judge him as manager of WHU. Watched a few giving it the big un on here about Moyes during the Bournemouth game - literally during the game while all our team was playing - announcing how the rest of us were mugs and all t...

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

You reasons may well be correct but did they say on the radio that these clubs he'd had interviews with had said no to him or is that an assumption? Well he never got a job with any and I would be stunned if he said no to any, seeing how the man himself said in an interview how desperate he was got...

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

Pellegrini landed us in this mess but its Moyes fault lol. We have 1 striker. a full back aged 96. The other full back offers very little. 2 players in midfield combined age 65. Yup Moyes fault mate. The team is crap without pace and Anderson is a huge miss. We have 2 players only who can turn game...

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

Mentioned this in another thread. the radio claimed the other day that Moyes had been interviewed by 5 Championship clubs, one 1 League 1 club and 3 Premier League clubs since his first stint with us. Why did they all say no and yet we went begging cap in hand for him. Out of work, cheap, desperate ...

Re: Leicester City v West Ham United: Match Thread

Bloody hell Crouchie. If I agree with you anymore tonight I am going to place myself on ignore. But joking aside you are spot on. Football has moved on, managers such as Allardyce and Moyes have not. Some might not like the question, but it is very valid. Why has Moyes hot got a gig since Sun...
