Re: ⚽ West Ham United v Manchester City: Match Thread (10/8)

Result was dissapointing, but nothing we haven't seen before. I just wish we could learn to pass to feet. How many times in that game did we see our players stretching to recover a pass from one of our own.

Today it would have been my 19th Wedding Anniversary.I spent the morning dealing with banks , and other companies that my late wife had been with. This afternoon, i had a tea with my Mum, then ...

Re: The Mental Health Thread - (Help Contacts in First Post).

Mushy - Thanks a lot for your advice mate. I contacted Winstons Wish, who were very good in giving advice for the boys. My youngest one who is 12, knows that his Mum died in the woods.I haven't told him that she hanged herself. The eldest who has just turned 18 knows the full picture. I guess my nex...

Re: The Mental Health Thread - (Help Contacts in First Post).

I have to say, people have been fantastic, including you on here. So many offers of help. On a personal note, I did a lot of my grieving when she left 5 years ago. As much as it hurts, my sons are my priority now.Getting them the help and counselling they may need. School has been fantastic,as has m...

Re: The Mental Health Thread - (Help Contacts in First Post).

A sad and tragic tale here. I got married 19 years ago next week.Lovely girl who went on to be a fantastic wife, and then mother to our two boys.Over time though something wasn't right. She would come out with some of the most random threats, Accusations of being bullied in work, people trying to get ...

Re: Shirt Brands you don’t see anymore...

Woolworths had a brand of Football Boots named Winfield. Had a pair myself when i was a kid.
Can anyone else remember those Kits in a box. Complete kit, but they only had them in Red Shirt , White Shorts and Socks. Or Blue Shirt.

Bruno. A Hero's ovation as he left Brighton on the last day of the Season. Claret and Stew followers report seeing David Gold's helicopter hovering over the Amex. with a short, stumpy guy, wearing a Russian hat, clinging to a ladder below.

Re: Top Half Next Season

We should be top half. However, we need to get this injury issue out of the way. and improve fitness levels. A lot of our players seem unable to last 90 mins. Take a look at Leicester - The season they won the Premiership, they had few injuries, keeping a settled side. You could say they got lucky. T...
