Re: England Cricket: tour of South Africa

England some how lose the 1st T20.

Proper bottled that one, Morgan trying to be the 'star', Curran as well. 2's were more than enough to get it but they wanted to be Ben Stokes and failed.

Re: ⚽ Manchester City v West Ham United: MATCH POSTPONED (09/02)

Constant rain between 1 and 2 bars but wind has increased now on the chart at kick off time to 55 mph. It is unplayable and dangerous driving conditions. Wigan update - Rain has stopped, wind dropped considerably and the sun is out. Seems mad they cancelled it, however if it had been like it was at...

Re: England Cricket: tour of South Africa

England doing their best to make hard work of a very strong position in the final ODI. Bairstow with a good 43 in 23 balls, since then it has been rather poor. Still should win this and level the series.

Excellent bowling performance from England with Rashid the stand out.

Re: ⚽ Manchester City v West Ham United: MATCH POSTPONED (09/02)

He phoned to say the weather was not too bad until 10ish this morning and then turned to unbelievably bad as quick as that. Ironically since the announcement appeared the rain has returned to 'normal', my Sky is back and the it appears to be daylight (was like the middle of the night at 10am). Eye ...

Re: ⚽ Manchester City v West Ham United: Match thread (09/02)

This is the BBC Weather report for Manchester today. They are very reliable. Only 2 bars of rain isn,t anything major but the winds are touching gale force. https://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2643123 Anyone driving up there, esp in coaches be very careful. No way i get in a coach today. Well in Wigan ju...

Moyes doing live interview on SSN at 1pm this afternoon. I wonder if he’ll follow GSB’s script ‘operation 200 thugs’

Contacted someone about hiring a boat. Thought we’d be honest and said wanted to put an inoffensive banner on top and was told they were sympathetic but had been warned that their operators licence would be cancelled... How is that even legal? They've been watching too many East end gangster films.

Sadly, looked like the correct call, Gary.
We've only ourselves to blame.
But it wasn't the linesman had flagged, for it to be overturned it has to be a clear and obvious error, it wasn't clear or obvious so the 'on pitch' decision is supposed to stay.

How the hell was that given? If the PL have decided Liverpool will win the league, it feels like they have decided we should go down. Terrible.
